I agree with you. I often wondered why the Walmart I got seems to have the sliced bread on one aisle and the peanut butter & jelly on the next right beside you...and where they keep the milk the donuts is always nearby😄

I worked in retail for over a decade, and it is most definitely intentional. There's a reason why oftentimes sweet stuff is near the front of store while cleaning items are often near the back.
It's been a long since I watched a video so wholesome and genuinely, not overly edited and not an obnoxious attitude. Thanks for the advice as well Noel.
Frozen vegetable is actually more fresh than the fresh vegetable in the grocerie store, they have to blast freeze them in order to keep the vegetable from falling appart from the freezing process and the ripeness(idk how to say it but not rotten), so in the end frozen is fresher,, the difference will be in cooking technique because they won't retains their water too much since the water in the cells of the vegetable will be leaking more easily since it has been frozen. :)))))
Yeah, unless you buy just restocked fresh veggies and use them fast, frozen veggies are better overall cuz of blast freeze, its not just normal "put in freezer for few hours" technique.
Yeah just make sure to slurp up the fluids that leave the veggies if you want the nutrients. When youre making soups thats obviously not a concern everything ends up in the water.

When buying beef, ask the manager about special priced cuts, sometimes they will reduce price for things not normally considered desirable but with a little effort can be made wonderful.
The junk being opposite the veggies might be because people who get some vegetables might then suddenly feel like they are entitled to buy some sweets after putting vegetables in their carts.
What I really like about this, is that it's down to earth, buying the same products a normal person would buy with the same thinking about buying fresh, frozen or pre-cut according to time and money budget. A lot of other videos are way over the top for a normal person who works a regular job and hasn't time and money to go above and beyond.
3:14 If you also suffer from crying when cutting onions here is 2 tips from me to you 1. Pell the onion and put the onion in the fridge atleast a half hour before you plan to use it and only take it out when you are ready to start cutting it. 2. Use a sharp knife. U need to slice through the onion and with a dull knife you are more smashing and gnawing than cutting. There;s lots of videos on youtube to learn how to sharpen a knife what I did was bought a whetstone and clip on angle guides to make it easier. Once you get a good new angle on your knife you will just need to polish the edge once a month (depending on how much you cook) to keep it nice and sharp.

Just a tip for future ref, frozen veggies are HEALTHIER + CHEAPER, than fresh veggies, cuz food loses nutrition as at " Ripens" and frozen veggies are frozen instantly after harvest ..
Money saving tip on fruits, get frozen berries and tropical fruits, alot cheaper then fresh perfect for your smoothies! And you dont need to worry about them going bad. Wal mart and other big box stores will have loads of options to choose from.
Eating dinner whilst getting them gainz and watching Noel grocery shop is setting yourself up for success for sure! 💪 Love from overseas in Denmark, Noel!
If your knives are sharp, it really helps with less tearing from onions. Also, when you put stuff in the top part of the grocery basket, put the kid seat up to block things from falling out.

Noel is in Texas, but shops at Walmart.... HEB is one of, if not the best, grocery stores ever conceived. We all learn so much from Noel. Maybe Noel can learn something from us.
Yes, sweet stuff is intentionally next to or little after vegetables. I had a conversion with a guy who was supporting the database of a dig shopping chain, and he explained to me that, based on that data shops decide what when and where to position. So they watched the behavior of the customers and found that when someone takes vegetables, it justifies buying sweet stuff, and it is almost sure that most of the customers will take something from sweet shelves.
If I could give y'all a recommendation, I always buy 2 or 3 fresh lemons when I'm at the grocery store. Adds so much flavor to the classic meal prep items like rice, chicken, fish. Definitely worth it imo.
