love to see Noel shopping at a walmart, it's a place that we realistically shop at, as compared to a whole foods or sprouts that some other influencers shop at. Another thing Trader joe's has a no-sugar added strawberry preserves that is low in calories and taste amazing, put it on some rice cakes !

What he says is so true, don’t limit yourself. Find replacements. If you have sugar cravings, have a mango or a fruit that will satisfy those cravings, low calorie ice creams or homemade frozen yoghurt. So many alternatives to have a good tasting diet. Remember it’s ok to have a cheat meal once a week or have a small treat at the end of the day if that means sustainability. The 2 most important factors are self control and consistency

Hey Noel. I recently started getting serious with my meals and drinks and haven't skipped a workout. Its been about 2 weeks now and I'm glad to say I went from 359 down to 353. I have consistently been at a 300-400 calorie deficit. I also started doing a cardio warmup before my workouts and also find time to do at least 60 minutes a day of cardio. I say all this because you are truly an inspiration. Whether we are fit or trying to be fit. Your videos save us from ourselves. Food content is so important! i was on an 1800 calorie diet but i ate chicken fingers, fries, snacks all kinds of stuff and i couldn’t lose weight. It really is important to look for oils, added sugars, and high fructose corn syrup! It makes a big difference. I’m down 27lbs this year and struggling to eat enough to even maintain weight now and I am eating way more calories! Thanks for the positivity and helpful videos Noel!!

This video is fantastic. I'm not a body builder, I'm a long-distance runner, and have been on a weight loss journey for the last few months. This video gives me a lot of ideas. Shout out for nut butters, ever since I made my own Nutella and hazelnut butter, I have been going for nut butters that are only the nut and maybe salt for ingredients. Yogurt is also fantastic, I love skyr but since moving to Oregon I haven't been able to find skyr. Skyr is an Icelandic yogurt (technically cheese) that is high protein, and I've found it often has more protein than most Greek yogurts, plus I like the texture and flavor more (skyr is very tangy).

Green and leafy veggies, fruits, grains, dairy, eggs, and meat- Nutrition is not supposed to be complicated but all the health and wellness scaremongering has people confused. Also, you can have a nice little piece of your favourite ultra-processed food from time to time.
Remember nutrition is just applied biochemistry. No single ingredient will kill you. Food doesn't kill you, unhealthy food habits do.

Sorry Noel, but I have to disagree with you on one point, Ryse powder is the second best tasting protein powder I have tried. My ultimate powder for taste is Revolution Nutrition Reese peanut butter cup but any of them are soo good, you can drink them just for a snack.
Also cucumbers are one option but I go with celery unless I am making my own "pickles", I just slice cucumbers into thin slices and add black pepper and vinegar, let them sit in that solution in the fridge and eat, they have zero salt and taste great

Great video! I generally hate fruit for the texture of eating them(I enjoy all their flavours). But with the macro's you show and honestly because you enforce their satiation factor, I'm gonna buy some and try it out. Cumcumber ribbons may need a bit of salting, which is still fine by my 4-6l daily water intake, while working. I buy a box of ultra-processed cheap foods a month as a cheat, generally costco gyoza dumplings, they're so good pan fried in garlic butter. Screw fast food cheat days. Just make a decadent chicken fettuccine alfredo and enjoy what 1000 calories of butter and cream tastes like! It's overall healthier too.

I would recommend cabbage rather than cucumbers for volume eating. Only because it tastes great in cooked meals (to me)
    And also quite cheap!

I've been eating a serving of low-fat cottage cheese with 1/4 chopped apple, 1 tbs honey and a serving of PB fit powdered peanut butter (do not mix with water) with a dash of cinnamon. It's about 240 calories and 20 grams of protein and so good! You could substitute honey with stevia and lower the calories by 60 making it 180 calories for 20 grams of protein! Give it a go and let me know what you think!

I just started my weightlifting journey and I'm currently on a lowcarb diet ( I don't know if 70 to 150 carbs per day is low carb but I've been eating more before). Loosing 1kgs per month, on 3 months now. 2 months some crossfit class and I switched to weightlifing this month now. Wish me Luck!

the older you get the more health conscious you become. Very true. I now avoid caffeine, seed oils like vegetable, canola oil, Palm oil. Im almost paranoid looking at the ingredients.

About avoiding the Chips and candy section. In Denmark they typically put all the candy and cakes at the cash out. and it sucks if there is a big line, so you just stand there and get tempted.

It’s true about the WalMart ice cream bars, they don’t really melt. They turn into some strange otherworldly goo, but that it’s absolutely not frozen milk that’s for sure!

Its because the main ingredient is Hydrogenated vegetable oil. Coffee Mate "creamer" doesnt have to be refrigerated because of this same ingredient, Cool Whip as well.
