On the other hand, a lot of robot master loses because they move too much and run right into Wart. Thus the lesson here is: be patient and wait for your chance to make the move.
That Air Man fight was kinda surreal, 'cause I've NEVER seen Wart come off of that platform, before. Great video, but, I hope this isn't the last we see of Wart; I'd like to see how he does against guys in THEIR stages, and in the Kabatoncue Tower speedrun, and in the Mega Man 1 Boss Rush speedrun. But REALLY especially, I wanna see how he does against Bowser. x)
Ayy, a new Mario boss and this guy's a BEAST with his invulnerability and projectile destroying bubbles. Of course he wasn't a match for airman, though.
Smb2 has long been one of my favorites, so it's great to see you do this. Aside from chads like Fireman/Airman/Heatman winning, there were also some unexpected results: Centaur and Tomahawk man are usually low-tier, yet they won; didnt think Bombman would pull it off either, but he came through in the clutch. Woodman is usually strong, yet went down, and Metalman's NoGame (since they can't hit each other) was something I hadn't foreseen!
'Castlevania bosses' and it's either Death or Phase 2 Dracula, none which I am against :p Perhaps if Dracula gets wasted by everyone, we get Super Dracula which also includes his Rondo moveset
@@Mewseeker CV1 Dracula would be dope but basic, nothing too bad. Could do collision damage too. However, given that his CV1 AI is kinda whack, he could easily get an AI that gives him the moveset from Rondo, or make him more aggressive overall. CV2 Dracula would be kinda unfair due to how he's usually airborne; however, I could see him stunlocked in most cases. CV3 Dracula has three phases. However, the second phase, as demonstrated by an Alucard-only run, requires tanking the hit or firing a piercing projectile (possibly Mars' Photon Missile or Terra's Spark Chaser could help); the third one requires the assistance from platforms, and not every boss likes staying in place. Alternatively, just dip in Galamoth and King Galamoth from Kid Dracula lmao
New Nintendo villain comes to Mega Man Battles. But remember: All of Robot Masters was in their dream, when they are fighting against him. (Just because Wart appeared only in dream-games.) And his new name here will be "King Wart" or "Frog Man".

Yeah I quickly saw this was going be an issue. I was like wait, he only fires when he's attacked, and only moves across the room if someone gets too close. This goes no where, then it said no game.
As usual, Fireman's hyper aggressive fighting style has won the day. Also I am happy that Cutman won, but highly amused his last posture just made it seem like he was dabbing on the frog.
@@theblazingpyro5914 yeah it’s cause NES Guts Man move set leaves him a sitting duck for 99% of the time. He doesn’t attack after every jump either so that really makes it difficult for him to attack more quickly instead of stunning his opponents. If he had his arcade move set now that would be fun to watch him fight and win.
The sound effects in this are all kinds of off (why do we get an UARGH!! sound every time a projectile is destroyed by a bubble?), but otherwise nice work.
This was awesome and I'm gonna go over how each did and what happened. WoodMan: Did good at first, but slowly decided to jump closer to Wart and his timing was off. Windman: Went full kamikaze mode by moving towards him. Almost won, but if he stayed his distance he could've won. IceMan: Almost the same strategy as WoodMan, but got more shots off before he got too close to get the first victory to the robots. Flashman: His first flash stop was brillant!! His second was timely off sadly... CentaurMan: Our first surprised winner. His flashes were better, and his shots were on target. Nice that Wart is bigger for his shots to hit. AirMan: Wart ALMOST pulled the upset, but Airman still proved he is the best of the best. BlizzardMan: Had good rolls and his blizzard shots were high enough to hit and not be negated by Wart's attack. Did a good job. TomahawkMan: Man upset city here. We all know how bad he is but got in close and went with feathers instead of tomahawk, which the feathers got 3 HITS in one shot. Knightman: Did okay, but man his attacks are just awful regardless of who he faces. BombMan: After seeing his struggles early I wrote him off. I was wrong. Nice job man. CrashMan: He FREAKING ONE SHOT WART!!! Enough said. FireMan: Wart stood no chance to his quick counterattacks, and he kept a good distance. If it wasn't for CrashMan one-shoting him this was the most impressive strategy yet. FlameMan: He flamed out....His shots couldn't even reach Wart's mouth... Literally only option is to get same level to ground flame. ElectMan Mark 2: He is back and had some excellent dodging between Wart's bubbles. Wondered how the original would've done. PlantMan: His only attack is a shield and Wart is good against shields. Easy win for Wart. QuickMan: Almost pulled a Crashman and one shot him only to just barely win by getting the last shot in right when he was going to land on him and die. YamatoMan: Just bad...Really really bad... CutMan: He found a camping spot and stood there to finish him off!!! Excellent strategy he pulled off there!! HeatMan: Until Wart hit him, he was destroying him. HeatMan along with AirMan a class on their own. MetalMan: BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Super GutsMan: Man, he came close but got a little to close and Wart got the last hit in first.
Most of these robot masters have a bad habit of bumrushing against the enemy, they either end up killing themselves or severely injuring themselves if they clutch a lucky win, like cmon, cutman and fireman did a superB job by not constantly hugging wart
Fire Man with the raw power. Cut Man with the cheap positioning. I though Guts was gonna have Wart on total stun-lock but then he closed to melee like a fool.
I'm actually impressed Fire Man and Blizzard Man dominated the fights like they did. Fire Man in particular just decided he was fed up and wanted it to end quickly.
And it's in this video that I suddenly realize… Iceman's AI is wrong in this engine. He's supposed to move forward, twice and move back twice. Technically, if he's blocked or changes Y position, it screws up his movement and Ice Slasher, too, but never mind. Wart's AI is also wrong. He's never supposed to turn around or fire to the right. Airman isn't supposed to jump forward twice, either, and I think Hyper Bomb is supposed to do constant damage if the target has no I-Frames. I might be wrong about the latter, though.
Wart has has limited windows of vunerability. I think that's the big difference. It's true to his original fight, so it makes sense he operates that way. If it wasn't the case, I'm guessing he easily lost to the majority of the Robot masters.

I think the stage 6 boss would translate well into this setting. The rest are just huge targets that remain in place, and would live or die purely based on how accessible their weak spot is to the line of fire of the RM involved.
@@KojirremerMM1 robot masters are the earliest examples for non human tryhard players, while MM2 robot masters came with better weapons (with enhanced aiming and jumping, or covering the screen in death) to fight in a safer way compared to MM1 robot masters
