Judging by the fact that the final two were non-jumpers, I'd say that jumping was probably a disadvantage. Especially with the way many of them were just jumping into Phanto.
@@MewseekerReally all of the finalists were ones who stuck to the ground more than average. I wonder if it's just because they don't try to use jumps as attacks or if the Phanto just doesn't stay at a single height long enough.
I don't know what I'm more impressed by: The fact that the ones that performed the best were Robot Masters from MM1, the fact Fire Man won (I was kind of expecting Elec Man to win given how he seemed to know exactly where to move to avoid Phanto), or the fact none of them thought to use the door.
I'd say it's ironic that one of the least mobile bosses here got the win, but I realized at some point that being jumpy and hyper mobile simply meant you ended up drawing Phanto's aggro more and pulling it away from the ones who mostly remained grounded.
Phanto is too unique enemy for EVERYONE in Mega Man Series. It flies, goes across walls with ceilings and also he can't be defeatable. (He is literally best "Robot Master", lmao.)
Seeing the return of Big Eye and the Sumatran robot from Megaman 5 in these videos was a pleasant surprise! We haven't seen much of them since the early days of this channel
metal man was fascinating to see since he is the only one designed to avoid the player thus it tried it best to dodge the mask except due to it being a set jump height and distance it ultimately was its downfall
The last round was like a survival horror with them constantly running away and shooting hopelessly at the creepy floating mask teleporting behind them
So the four in the final were the ones designed to jump less (which kept Phanto above them), and the last two were the ones most adept at playing keep away.
I can't believe Fire Man has dominated most of these challenges by just walking back and forth whilst shooting fire at everything I think you may need to make a nerfed version of him like you did with Air Man and Heat Man, because this dude's actually kind of OP
@@Megaman-o-Fusca It would probably work in Phanto's benefit, as it would gain a massive inertia boost that would escalate further after screen wrapping and entering Airman's gust again.
And here's the survivors of each group. Group A: Electman Group B: Fireman Group C:Megaman(Damn plot armor) Loser's bracket:Tomahawkman Finals: Flameman!
Oooo, you should have the robot masters go up against the Koopalings from Super Mario Bros. 3!! Maybe Bowser too if you can figure a good ruleset on the damage they all do to each other.
…Yeah I can see a problem immediately here. A lot of the enemies and even Robot Masters do aim for contact damage… which isn’t really going to work on the Phanto, not to mention they can’t actually harm the Phanto at all anyway…
Why the different movement of Phanto with Metal Man? In each round without him, Phanto would simply go from the middle of the screen to one edge to look the other way, get to the middle and repeat, but with him not. The competition was rigged
He went for enemies that jumped high. That's why MM2 bosses got destroyed. When they are up high and jumping across the screen, they have to run into him. They jumped the most, so they kept him high up. The other robots jump, but not as often.
@@DeWente69 It's not just that they jumped high, it's that Phanto is designed to track. So when they jumped up closest to it, it started to veer and track them. And when they're the only ones that go that high, it means that they're the only ones likely to run into it when it descends from that height too.
@@KryptikM3 Exactly. They kept buzzing him. I don't know how his aggro is designed, but apparently, he doesn't like for characters to play chicken with him.
I know itd likely be a pain to make it so they don't trap themselves, but I am curious to see a version of this where the platforms are accessible and semisolid, and how different ais would act in such cases with this rather unique obstacle, and if id be advantageous or disadvantageous
Quick question here - Was the AIs programmed to avoid Phanto at all? They might have had a bit of a chance that way. Only Mega had some type of evasion really...
The guy that can't jump wins the dodging competition
Judging by the fact that the final two were non-jumpers, I'd say that jumping was probably a disadvantage. Especially with the way many of them were just jumping into Phanto.
I feel bad for the Robot Masters/Enemies programmed to collide into the enemy here. They never stood a chance against Phanto...
Crash Man and Quick Man had a big deathwish this time
Me stupidly shouting at my phone: Guys just go through the door!
Elec Man: Find your own hiding spot!
Fire Man: But you find the best ones!
I like how fire man did basically nothing but walk and won this entire thing
Elec Man did well for the same reason.
@@MewseekerReally all of the finalists were ones who stuck to the ground more than average. I wonder if it's just because they don't try to use jumps as attacks or if the Phanto just doesn't stay at a single height long enough.
Funny how the robot masters' response to an incorporeal, uncomprehensible being is to just shoot it until it (does not) goes down
We aren't so different from them.
they only know to do one thing when they see an enemy
Seeing this, doctor Light decided to create a new smarter Mega Man, X. Nothing bad will ever come out of this! :P
You cannot grasp the true form of Phanto's attack!
Fire Man's advantage is that he always tries to stay a certain distance away from his foes, though it was balanced out by his slow speed.
Phanto: Stay down. Final warning.
Fire Man: _I can do this all day._ (an MCU Captain America reference)

Kind of impressive how resilient the original Robot Masters were
Shows why MM6 had such a weak roster
@@derthevaporeonI think it more shows their reliance on contact damage, though yeah. Not the strongest.
@@derthevaporeonthose robots weren’t Wily or Light
Phanto really hates MM2 I guess. It went straight for their necks on losers' round.
Phanto is too unique enemy for EVERYONE in Mega Man Series.
It flies, goes across walls with ceilings and also he can't be defeatable. (He is literally best "Robot Master", lmao.)
Losers bracket was mayhem! Fireman runs just slow enough to avoid Phanto switching sides. This was cool.
I wasn’t expecting this at all, but I love how creative these challenges are getting! Super underrated channel.
The thumbnail is very cute this time around ❤️☺️
And the Flame of Justice prevails!
Seeing the return of Big Eye and the Sumatran robot from Megaman 5 in these videos was a pleasant surprise! We haven't seen much of them since the early days of this channel
Dang, thought Elecman was finally gonna win one outright lol
He kinda fumbled at the goal line there
Fireman is the most winner and Tomahawkman is the least loser...
The Last Round was a really close one. Elec Man Got away from Phanto Well, But Fire Man Just Barely Snagged the win.
Gonna tell my kids this was As the Gods Will
metal man was fascinating to see since he is the only one designed to avoid the player thus it tried it best to dodge the mask except due to it being a set jump height and distance it ultimately was its downfall
LOOOOOOL Fire Man wins matches even when damage means nothing.
要するにファイヤーマンやエレキマンみたいに下手に動き回らないボスは意外と被弾しにくいって事か。
ぴょんぴょん飛び回ってるボス大体脱落してるし。
3:29 oh no MX IS COMING (Mario 85)
now, we all know how a sumatran tiger would react to being attacked by a floating, possessed mask
The last round was like a survival horror with them constantly running away and shooting hopelessly at the creepy floating mask teleporting behind them
I was really hoping the deadly Cutsman would win at least one round, apparently Light created really good dodgers
1:57 cutman took the hit to end the fight right before he wouldve doubled back into fireman
So the four in the final were the ones designed to jump less (which kept Phanto above them), and the last two were the ones most adept at playing keep away.
Another victory fer tha FLAMES OF JUSTICE!!!
Wow, nobody really stood out!
I'd love to see the Robot Master go up against Dracula from Castlevania.
Flash, Air, and Centaur were removed for inside interference
Fireman with those sweet jukes in the finals 😂😂😂
I see my man Fire is coming out with wins yet again, and ElecMan didnt do to shabby in the first and last rounds!
Fire Man wins by moving very calmly.

Good old going to the right then going to the left, imagine a Goomba in the mix.
PUt Airman in this STRANGE fight and game over to all
@@Megaman-o-Fusca It would probably work in Phanto's benefit, as it would gain a massive inertia boost that would escalate further after screen wrapping and entering Airman's gust again.
Look at Fireman's expert dodging, holy shit!!!
Cut Man and Fire Man knew the mission from the start they were avoiding that Phanto like their lives depended on it (they did)
Robot masters were designed to run into MegaMan, they will fail tag avoidance competitions on purpose
The one time i actually want My Man Fire to run instead of shoot lol, good job
I’m your biggest fan🤩🤩
Now I think we need how Tiger will defeat Robot Masters

Rare Tomohawk W

Somehow managed to root for every winner except in Group A
If mega could adapt to that screen jump thing hed easily take it

Fireman won
Without Jumping
Fireman Nice job , poor megaman and tiger hejeje😢😢😢😢
Nice one!
God, the OG's are just built different huh?
No way Fire Man who doesn’t know how to jump won this thing!

while you do this, you should have a damage counter to see who did the most damage against it.

Not to be confused with Sumatran (MMIV [pronounced "Roman numeral four"]).
Metal man might have an easy time
And he sold why tf did he jump into it
you should do robot masters vs mouser, ,birdo, clawgrip, tryclyde, or fryguy.
AWESOME!!
I am so god damn mad that Fire Man even wins in meme gamemodes. Elec Man was robbed.
Fire Man the strongest MM1 robot master
I didn't know who would eventually win, but I knew which one would lose. Yamato is worthless!
Should we root for Mega Man as the real Mega Man? Or as Copy Robot?
Why don't the robot masters just use the door? Are they stupid?
can fire man not win for once lol
