      @@edi9892 Its easy to dismiss reality when you have never had any real world experience. Most of these people have probably never been punched in the face and have no idea how quickly they can become a statistic. Its not really surprising since no one seems to be interested in teaching our kids how the world actually functions and all the cold realities that come along with it. Removing all forms of adversity is the biggest mistake we could ever make for any growing child.

    • @edi9892
      @edi9892 2 роки тому +4

      @@candycabngfl Agreed. I didn't have an easy life, had a dysfunctional family, got bullied in school... I was also best in class in various subjects, until an even younger kid came in by skipping a year. He was a true genius and he finished even before us. So, he started to study at maybe 16 and took on two subjects at once. However, school and university are quite different and for the first time in his life, he failed an exam. How did he respond?
      He climbed a tower and jumped!
      Now, I could act tough since I never tried anything the like, despite all my hardships, but my hardships pale by comparison with what my grandparents went through. I frankly fear that I wouldn't have been tough enough to survive that S-show they managed to survive (poverty and lawlessness of the interwar years, and obviously WWII and then being displaced and having to start from scratch again).

It just something that happens. The husband of one of my teacher is from one of these regions, and despite living in Paris suburbs, has a license plate from were he was born. With the first story, I've always camped close to home/where I grew up here in Arkansas - though these places would probably freak you out if you weren't from around here. We had plenty of like weird, meth hillbillies just come walking out of the woods but we just usually offered them some booze and everything ended up well. And, being close to home, I or my family would usually know said "lurkers"... Like, "Oh, that's ol Billy Joe's nephew" or something lol. I've heard people talk about camping/partying in the woods and running into at least one murderer who'd escaped prison just hiding out in the nearby woods in a cave. But I'm sure more often than not, we scared anybody hiding in the woods more than they could have possibly scared us - we would be shooting guns, running chainsaws, etc and we'd be so messed up, we probably looked like Germanic pagans or something dancing around the fire and screaming and yelling - we'd get so crazy and drunk that I've seen - on more than one occasion - someone eating live snakes and fish. One guy was walking through the woods with a cottonmouth in one hand and a flaming torch in the other hand and his own brother shot him in the arm with a 12 gauge - it was just birdshot so we just kept drinking and partying. Getting a group of rednecks together with a group of metalheads always turns out eventful. I was more of a wallflower but it was entertaining. I've also camped quite a bit in Colorado too but it was usually the bears and big cats that caused me to sleep with one eye open there. Any nearby humans were usually pothead hippies or families.

    The blue ringed octopus doesn't bite to inject the poison it carries instead it's more like a poison arrow frog and secretes the poison from its skin in the form of a toxic mucus which then enters the body of the attacker (from the octopus' point of view) through pores in the skin, the poison is also not fast acting and can take several minutes before it sets in. The blue ring octopus is characterized by golden brown to tan colored skin punctuated by bright blue rings, like the poison arrow frog it is pretty to look at but deadly to touch.

    That roadside corpse brings back memories, albeit both cases were accidents, but they had one thing in common that I found highly unnerving.
    When I studied Chemistry in Germany, I drove to work and at this day, I could go late, which meant that I was driving the road at 9:00 give or take. I spotted a car wreck and it did surprise me as the road was absolutely straight and quite broad so that even a child could drive it without an issue. Even dodging something shouldn't have resulted in your car hugging a tree, but there it was a car mating a tree... When I got closer, I realized two things:
    1) both the front doors were open
    2) next to the driver was the corpse of a girl still hanging in her seatbelt.
    Then my brain started to work fast and I realized many things. She was dressed way too thin for the weather and it looked like the attire a girl may wear in a disco. Thus, I assume that it was a case of drunk driving and that the driver ran off after producing the accident. However, there's no disco that would be open all night, which meant that they must have crashed in the late night or early morning. Since then, hundreds of cars must have passed by, and yet, there was still the car wreck with a corpse inside...
    The second story was way closer to home. The block right next to mine had been emptied the year before and now there was noisy and absolutely annoying construction work going on. They wanted to modernize the pre-war building. So far, so normal, but that quickly ended with a loud, metallic, clang. It must have been something really massive falling onto concrete. The sound apparently caused silence as the construction noise halted immediately and nothing else was making a noise at the time. Then, I heard someone shouting. He was apparently cursing a colleague and calling him an id0t. However, his voice changed and became wordless screams, that were repeated with every breath. I was at the time preparing my breakfast and after I finished my breakfast, I was taking care of my clothes on the drying rack. So, a lot of time had passed, and this guy was still screaming in agony! When I was nearly finished with that chore, I noticed his screams died down and I almost thanked god for it as it was really getting on my nerves... 5min later, the siren of an ambulance could be heard. I then wondered what the heck took them so long, as the hospital was 10min on foot from where I lived! Later, I left the home and used the opportunity to look for the guy in charge of the construction work and I asked him what had happened. He blatantly lied to my face and told me in all seriousness that nothing had ever happened that day! I wanted to punch him in the face and tell him that I heard for the better part of an hour the screams, but I swallowed my anger and turned around...

That I'm certain and we don't usually have criminals that take a corpse with them as a bait, though, we did have a few cases, where someone got severely beaten up and then tossed on the street as a bait, though these cases have been thankfully very few. Adding a car wreck as bait is unheard of, at least to me.
      People usually get ambushed during parking, or someone jumps out of hiding on a road where you can't drive fast and blocks your way. That's what we have a lot (besides getting sandwiched for insurance money). Two acquaintances had this issue and in both cases, more people were in hiding. None of the targeted drivers stopped and one nearly hit that dude in front of her car...

    I can see pretty well in the dark, and I get spooked, like many do. While camping I realized that my flashlight made me kind of blind to everything not in the light, so that made me spooked. I turned off the flashlight and let my eyes adjust, and I realized I could see pretty well. So, long story short, I am a tall man that wears black walking around with no light in the darkness of a campground and ended up scaring the bejeesus out of someone that caught me in their light. Sorry guy!

    I had just finished the previous video and looked for any new ones to my dismay and 14 minutes later I saw this one!!! You’re my favorite horror UA-cam by far!

    Lazy this is the old content that I miss soooo dearly!!!! Please make more videos like this. No fancy stock footage, just me, a spooky picture and lazy’s voice.

      That stock footage can be so annoying. Especially the one of the 2 'detectives' posing for the camera
