But after few videos of your, You reignite my flame inside of me and suddenly I feel pokemon isn't just that simple game. I'm trying Radical Red recently and oh boy it fuk me up real good. But I change from all 4 mono type Fire-move Charzizard to Dragon Dance Feraligatr with cover type move. I know I have a long way to go even before my first Nuzlocke, but I have to say thank you to you, for opening a new whole game for me.
P.s: At least I know that never switch Onix to fight Jynx.

The cold and calculating villain of the story suddenly getting a change of heart at death's door and started cherishing what's left of his beat and battered team, becoming a dead man walking begging for 1 more fight before it all comes tumbling down.
I also like how the vid didn't even show how the run ends, it just expects the viewer to know that this run is dead ass dead, but how many more fights does this dying man and his rag tag team has left? No one knows...

This is by far my favourite Nuzlocke video ever. The gameplay was extremely on point, and because it wasn’t a deterministic puzzle as you said, it added so much more. Your storytelling and scripting were on another level as well. Everything about this video was excellent, I enjoyed it from start to finish, fully immersed. Fantastic job

This has always been the intention of the Nuzlocke challenge. There’s a reason “Nickname your Pokémon,” is often considered a rule.
It’s about attachment, and subsequent loss. This has always been what the soul of the Challenge has been. It’s why the progenitor was presented in a (humorous and tongue-in-cheek, but still earnest) comic format.
It’s about the story of struggle. It’s about dealing with the hands dealt.
I appreciate the optimizing, strategic, surgical approach Jan usually takes- but this? This is what a Nuzlocke was always supposed to be.

What an incredible video. The slow descent into being put at wit's end was amazing to watch the ending really put into perspective that at the end of the day, Pokemon's played for the fun someone gets out of it, no matter if it's hardcore minmaxing or just doing the best you can with the team you choose/are forced to bring with you. Wonderful watch, looking forward to the next one!
