The whole structure of doing a preplanning section, where you try to make a working team with the pieces you have, seeing Ludwig's reaction to the plan after you've explained it a bunch so we're on your side hoping that he understands it well, and ending with you whispering in his ear while he tries to bullshit his chat that he came up with it all is a super good almost 3 act movie.
I'm honestly just more upset that he was healing mid-battle while also needing outside comms to beat a Nuzlocke. That's like the third biggest rule about Nuzlockes is only healing outside of battle
@@dboi1656 I don't know what rules Ludwig played by but there are only 2 "absolute" rules in Nuzlockes: play with a limited amount of pokemon (usually catch only 1 pokemon per route) and perma-death. He can heal mid battle if he wants, he's not doing a hardcore challenge.

i never believed for a second that ludwig tried to theory craft or work through the elite four himself - my hats off to PChal for taking on the super mountain that is Ludwig.
TLDR he showed his balls on his podcast and they didn't censor it by accident when they uploaded the podcast in video form to patreon, so if you wanted you could just got look at screen shots of ludwig's ball sack.

It's so absolutely perfect that the save freezes at the champion fight, making it so Jan can't see that the notes were wrong on the final pokemon, but Lud is able to play through it anyways.
