Saw comment earlier I do think we in UK are programmed to know all lyrics of Queen songs....it's weird we all know em, all ages, the are National.Treasures...I went to Live Aid to see David Bowie (💖) I had liked Queen but they'd faded a bit...then after they came on ...omg! I became a complete addict. I remember Live Aid well.... I wanted a pee at 1pm and still wanted one at 10pm....😂😂 friend said "just wet yourself!" ....nope impossible just couldn't ....finally asked a security guy who took pity on a sweet young thing and took me...I then was out back in a totally different ares, lost my friend and finally found her at 1am..we slept on Waterloo Station....happy days😁😁😁😁
My old man was working at Live Aid that day with Quo, you gotta admit only Status Quo could have opened that gig, was a good day ⭐
Youre so right Rockin All Over The World ....got us all in the mood - i was waiting for Bowie who was amazing ....the only person there who could have followed Queens performance without fear 😂😂 abd even he said afterwards following them was daunting...he was genius as usual ...never forgotten it - only person i couldnt stand was Geldof ...he stole the limelight from Midge Ure big time! ....since then he was - still is - when hes here - my neighbour for years ...🤬🤬
@@Aoife24601 funny I think Geldof is a twat too. lol
Hes a total arse. Has no respect for neighbours, tight like you wouldnt believe .....which is hilarious when you think how he created this iconic role as a charitable God...he virtually fought me over a jumper for £8 in the local Charity Shop - grabbed it from my hand ....slightly amusing as im 5'1" and hes over 6'...he won ! He gave them a tenner and waited for the change!!!! I always wondered who was actually going to wear it ..😂😂😳
And he never could sing😂😂😂😂😂
they really dont make them like they used to, i cant imagine much of the music from today being treated with such love and respect as these classics
65,000 were in attendance. Absolutely incredible
That’s awesome
I love Queen and Freddie Mercury. The base player John Deacon was my fav, it is said he could go on after Freddie died and withdrew from the band and the celeb life. If you ever get change check out the official Breakthru video where they are performing in the open on a fast moving steam locomotive. Although it was said they were shit scared they don't show it. Thanks to Jimmy for recommending this and your reaction was great.
If you have ever seen or heard of the show Riverdance you should watch the night the original was first shown to the world in 1994 at the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland with Jean Buttler and Michael Flathly as the lead dancer. It will give you goose bumps.
The empty stage makes me weep. Love Freddie
Thank you for reacting to this, it reminds me how lucky i am to be British.
And of better times we can all hopefully return to.
My ten year old grandaughter sang this with her school choir. It was great to have some music we both liked ... also killer Queen so I had them blasting on you tube . It was great hearing her sing along.....
I was here it was amazing. And the London show 2013 both shows we sang like this.
As a Brit this makes me sooooooo happy I bet Freddie was watching and probably saying fantastic darling R.I.P Freddie💗
have you seen Queen's performance at the Live Aid concert, 1985? they weren't supposed to be there. it wasn't a Queen's concert and Freddie had a throat infection [i think] he'd been advised, by his doctor not to sing. his performance was epic and the crowd was awesome. their part of the concert was 27 minutes long, but, if you haven't seen it, you should, even if you don't react to it
Did you catch they even sang the guitar riffs? Think of the age of this crowd - probably 95% hadn't even been born when they song was released. 😲
Some people were put on this earth for 1 soul purpose ,Freddie was 1 of them born with a talent that can't be taught , legends never die, he definitely heard this I'm sure
