What kind of instrument do you play?
Freddie: The audience darling.
Love your comment that is on spot.
what a comment. i salute you
@@calhungus That’s what Freddie did say in real life though lol! He was so camp!
@@tanialake6994 There was a fancy dress party, the theme was people you admire, Freddie came dressed as himself!
@@blackcountryme I love that lol!
Freddie can still control a crowd from heaven.
He still does after 30 years. He's in heaven watching and still he's the number one frontman in the world
Cherie Smith There will never be anyone who compares to this man. Whether he’s alive or dead he will always be the most talented rocker to ever live.
I hear what you're saying Simon but allow me to twist it a bit. Freddie never controlled the crowd because control implies that there is no consent from the controlled side. I would rather say that the crowd opens up their hearts and souls to him and channels his presence, energy and talent that's why he's one of the greatest performers of all time and that's why he'll never die. I believe that the whole band was unique because they were so full of talent, so creative and still, so relatable and approachable. The crowd felt and still feels that Queen played and performed for them, genuinely, because they cared and because they wanted to share their music, not to make money or be famous and that's why they will never die. I feel I am rambling and incoherent but I am sure that, as a fellow Queen fan, you get my point! Peace out bro.
If you like a great crowd reaction try out this - Manchester Band back home in their farewell gig (well first farewell anyway) with probably their best known song

Love your comment. He sure does
It's amazing to realize that the crowd is made up of a generation that grew up after Freddie was already gone.
this is HIS best tribute from us,ever.
Not all later generations mate some of us where wrinkles
@@Lee-70ish were* wrinklies*
Ikr
It is taught in the UK by parents to there children or they here it and ask and well you know the rest
We Will Rock You: Played at every sports game
We are the Champions: Played at every tournament
Bohemian Rhapsody: Sung by 60,000 people at a concert 28 years after Freddie leaves us.
Now that is legendary right there.
He’s never left
That’s the truth. He’s watching and smiling.
You know someone has hit legendary status when their backing music is played at the concert of a group that wasn't even formed when the lead singer died and is in a completely different genre. Then the crowd of 65,000, most who were born after the lead singer died, sing it in tune and know all the words. That is a stratosperic superstar status.
From Heaven, Freddie smiled and said, "I'm still a legend darling"
Amen thank you
😳😯 So true. 😭
I love how people are starting to say darling on Queen related videos
That is so cool. What a personality, bigger than life for sure. He deserved better. Glad he is at peace. He was a gift from God.
Me and the wife are in this crowd... 20 meters from the front. The atmosphere was amazing! everyone was singing at the top of their voices!!! One of the best experiences!!!!!!
I was there to, the atmosphere when this happened is something I will never forget.
So cool! That must have been unreal
If I could reach every single person in that crowd, I would thank them for what they've done. Since I can't and since you were in the crowd and participated in that, I want to thank you and your wife for this powerful moment of pure joy. Peace!
Wow! Lucky you. I wish I would have been there.
Karl Pearson imagine that but more intense if freddie was still here and played
That says more about Queen and their legacy than I ever could.
when 65,000 people sing your song nearly 50 years after it came out, you’re not a singer. You’re a legend
Talk about legacy. These guys surely left a mark in music history... Incredible.
He french kissed it!
never let it die. Teach it to the children.
human history. bigger than music.
You know your a LEGEND when 28 years after you passed away 60,000 people singing your song that is older than they are (song released 1975 44 yrs ago) Freddie Mercury you sir are a legend believe me missed deeply RIP
There were 70,000 of us x
It's interesting to me because it seems a lot of people don't know just how much this song is adored by most Brits. I think probably 70% of all British people over 25 could sing it word for word, and when you get into the rock/metal/punk crowd that goes up to 95%. This is more like our national anthem than the actual national anthem is lol
I also think it's widely known that all the guys of Green Day are massive Queen fans.
I was thinking the same. This should be our national anthem. At least we know all the words to it.
I'm American and i still felt chills from this event, i know every lyric, and i think we should just have it be the worldwide anthem
I'm an American and was in my high school's concert choir when this album came out. A whole lot of the members of the choir used to get together to listen to this and try to sing it. Man, the record executive who said this would sink the band was an idiot. Probably the greatest rock and roll song ever.
Brits aren't special in this. People all over the world know this song and every word. Even young kids know this song word for word.
who ISN'T a Queen fan?
the generation in that crowd weren't even born when freddie left us but ALL of them know every word.
heartwarming, and this kind of thing happens regularly in Britain,we just love to sing as a crowd.
I cried my eyes out when I first saw this video last week. I always find it emotional when a crowd sing like this but the added sadness that Freddie died too young just overwhelmed me. Absolutely incredible.
Freddie definetly saw that in heaven
Queen music continues on . He must be really happy
They even sing the guitar solo😁
And people think that immortality isn't possible.
Clear proof that Queen is immortal.
I was at the Green Day concert a few years ago in Melbourne, Australia and they played this song fairly quietly in the background, and within SECONDS the entire crowd took over and sang along.
Probably a highlight of my musical viewing....
The thing that impressed me the most was, how many were singing, like everyone out loud the whole song, which is not a short song, with solo's accapella and all the stuff in it. They just went on and on and on.... tears in my eyes such a great crowd.
Ohh are you crying ? Yes you'r crying from happiness
Me too man ,me too .
Me too
God: (listening to gospel sung in churches across the world,) "Their voices raised in praise is a wonderful thing."
Freddie Mercury: "Hold my beer, darling..."
Freddie's smiling through those clouds. Never forgotten!
2 years ago I was part of this crowd. Such an amazing atmosphere
For sure,thank you for that
this is how you know when you are a legendary singer.the crowd was so so loud.ive never ever in my 45 yrs on this planet ever heard a crowd like this.truly awesome
Except, of course, at an actual Queen concert
@@dajtoad1 it wasn't a queen concert though was it?
Was there for the concert and when this came on the whole crowd just ignited and sang and as the vast majority of the crowd weren't even born when Freddie and Queen were performing it says a lot for the staying power of their songs, was told that people blocks away could hear and they started to sing along as well. Freddie and Queen have joined that small number of bands who have reached that peak of being called legends and who will never be forgotten.
I believe that Brian May recated to this on TV here in the UK and was in tears.
is there a link video of that?
Link?
Really? I must have missed that. When was this, I usually keep myself updated on Brian May news
doesn't surprise me at all,i was filling up too watching that.
Freddie touched everyone and lived life to the full,we should follow his example.
Please LINK THE VIDEO PLEASE
same thing happened with Green Day in Argentina and Bohemian Rhapsody. the crowd went crazy. check it out.
@Frank Ctry this one..

The word “amazing” isn’t enough to describe this crowds
Green Day are big Queen fans themselves, and they pretty much always play Bohemian Rhapsody before each show, so it figures all their fans would know the words :)
I was born in 86. I've loved greenday since around 95. But I always knew Queen x
Everyone in England knows Bohemian Rhapsody by heart.
This man didn’t die a rockstar he made legend statues after 27 years of his death he can still get 65,000+ to sing bohemian Rhapsody without the band even there long live Freddie Mercury
Greenday likes to play this before their concerts. This crowd reaction is amazing!! It actually gives me all the feels haha
Was privileged enough to have been there, near to the cross looking thing on the right....it was a magical moment that will live with me forever!!
Me too x
I wish, with all my heart. Freddy could see this. Over a decade after he passed. 65, 000 people sing his songs. Not only that but those people are there for an entirely differnt style of music. But... freddy is the greatest. Period.
Not just a decade it's almost 3 decades (26 years) after he passed. Amazing!!!
I do believe he did see this, watching down from Heaven
This is the most awesome rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. I was blown away by the crowd's out of this world performance. This is too good to be true. No words can describe that incredible moment. Just imagine 65,000 people singing Bohemian Rhapsody in perfect unison and totally in sync. It's simply amazing.
Crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody - Before Green Day concert 01/07/17. Hyde Park, London
Freddie's smiling in heaven!!
Whenever this comes on the radio, PA, whatever - EVERYONE sings 👍👍 it's like a national anthem here in the UK!
Yes that exactly happened. I was there we heard the song everyone joined in
2 minutes in ... .. and I cant stop the tears... Thats right.... THATS LOVE RIGHT THERE FOR FREDDIE and QUEEN....
IM IN TEARS!!!! BUT IM SOOOO HAPPPYYYYY!!!!
Freddie has been gone for 28 years and He still can control a crowd like this....
I saw a comment where someone said Freddies GONE.... But he saying "I might be gone but Im still FABULOUS, DARLING...."
For me this is immortality at its best, I looked at the clouds shifting from almost a hand into a face, shifting into a dog touching an elephant but when you turn your screen a heart is visual as iif freddie is giving a blessing from heaven... Thank you to all the beautiful beiings that made this happen, tears to my eyes, smile on my face, but so much love in my heart.... 😍
One of the best things I’ve ever seen
Yes, Green Day always do this, they have speakers in front and whenever Queen songs play, the crowd just always sing with it, so Green day just always make sure to let Queen songs out to hype up the crowd at first.
I truly believe the world would be a better please if we all every now and then just sat down together and sung. Music unites and heals! Great reaction!!
Just blew me the hell away, greatest thing I have ever seen at a concert. This song is 45+ years old and EVERYONE is singing along at a GREEN Day concert to Queens Bohemian Rhapsody. SHOWS YOU HOW TIMELESS GREAT MUSIC IS, THIS SPANS GENERATIONS. Restoring my faith that rocknroll still lives Like Seager said give me some of that old time rocknroll
A beautiful event, from a generation too young to remember Freddie!
Many Green Day fans are the same as the band, which is near 50, and older. We certainly remember Freddie and and many of us saw Queen live. Not to mention the influence of waynes world into pop culture. So, this transcends generations
Seriously one of the most beautiful, spontaneous moments EVER. Makes me so happy, I almost want to cry.
This brings tears to my eyes. Imagine being in that crowd❤😭
Every time I watch this I get chills! Long live Freddie Mercury! Still electrifying stages long after he is gone!
Green Day is secure enough in their talent, and confident in their followers that they play this BEFORE they hit the stage. That's why you're hearing a piano.
I love your reaction..!!!
First time I heard it... I cried all along the song... well.. it’s happens every time I saw this beautiful performance of Bohemian Rhapsody... with Queen and Freddie... without them!!!
We are now in 2020... this beautiful song was written in 1975, and, It’s very emotive to hear almost 65.000 people singing this song at the Green Day.., at Hyde Park in 2017. “Thousands Of Green Day Fans Sing 'Bohemian Rhapsody” "The world is falling apart, everyone hates everyone else.... but sometimes.... it just takes one song to unite the masses."
Makes me goosebumps to hear loud and clear all those people singing..., to see the empty stage ... the drum cymbals moving smoothly with the wind, the clouds and the clarity in the sky ...!!!
💔💔💔💔
IT WAS AMAAAAAZING ..!!! FREDDIE will be always alive!!! It’s a legend ... an QUEEN the most great band ever.
All these year later Freddie lives on within all of us , just awesome
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY IS THE GREATEST SONG OF ALL TIME !!!! AND UK CROWDS ARE THE BEST ALSO 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Of course ther waz a sayin wen freddie died States had the King but We HAD THE QUEEN
My top greatest songs are... Bohemian rhapsody, imagine, and hey jude
Love and respect are shown here!
Now Just imagine what would happen if Freddie was alive and queens did a concert today.
That was beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. We still love you Freddy.
I was in the crowd. This got recommended to me. I have to say-- the whole thing was magical and nothing will ever replicate the feeling. There were 65,000 people there and it was beyond compare.
BEST COVER EVER MADE MAN!!!! This crowd rocks!!!👏👏👏
Heard queen in 1974 i was 7..my Dad an east end Cockney Loved Queen from This song till My Dad passed 6yrs ago..The greatest gift my Dad gave me was ..Always question what When ..How.....And Gave me Hours of listening to Albums from 30s Jazz...50s RnR..Blues..60s Beatles i was born 1967...all my memories are Brilliant music...Sitting playing my fathers blue pearl 5piece drum kit at the age of 5....History the good the bad ugly of history...I miss my Dad..iBut my son 13 ..ive passed on i hope to Him....god bless London...Star Shines My Dad..James..x
From a fellow cockney born in '54,lived sarf of the river,Battersea and we had the best of it didnt we?
London was a truly great place to be in the 60's and 70's,something huge on somewhere in London every night of the year.
Sadly,it aint like that any more and most of us have moved out but you know what they say,you can take the boy out of London but.......
This is just wholesome. What
a precious moment of perfect strangers
I was at the back on the right by the bar, screaming this and hugging strangers.
I was there too with my Dad
Freddie is still touching many people’s hearts 💕 and souls. 💜😘🥰🤗💕
Queen are still touching many people’s hearts and souls. Freddie wasn’t a solo singer I get sick and tired of the other members being ignored.
I was there too. Sang my little heart out
A couple of mates were there and they are mid 20s like myself and said a lot of the crowd must have been between 20 and 40, so they weren't even born when this was released. Shows how great Freddie's music is!
What a legend. This is his legacy. Nothing but love and admiration for a man and library of music that will never die and always transcend to the youngest and oldest generation. Rest in peace Freddie. Thank you
its not Freddie and Queen! its just QUEEN!!! 4 members of a rock band.
Exactly. I hate when people separate Freddie from the band. It's 4 members not 3 members plus a lead vocalist
Freddie wrote the song.
Your show stolen by a band that aren’t even there!
As an age old aging Queen fan, this makes me cry with joy every time I watch it.
Brings a lump to my throat and a tear to the eye and I'm not a big queen fan.
I love watching this every time every time I hear this it it just brings tears ton my life.
Green day still uses this song as the opening. Crowd always sings like this! ❤
This was totally spontaneous, music version came on and the whole crowd sang, they knew every word of the song !!
And tell me to watch this I just tear up and start to cry it's so awesome the words can't explain
Crowd singing always gives me goosebumps. One thing people all love is music that moves them.
26 years after Freddie Mercury A LEGEND IN THE INDUSTRY, passed and he, STILL OWNS THE CROWD LIKE NO ONE ELSE HAS AND LIKELY EVER WILL!!! THIS WAS FREAKING EPIC!!!
I wish I could I show how more love for this. Amazing.
This is the most beautiful tribute to queen. Wow 👏 I had tears listening to those voices singing that out to the heavens so freddie could hear. Bravo 👏
Every time I see that video, no matter if it's the original or thru reaction vids... I always get teary-eyed. RIP Freddie ❤ Queen
This is one of the few videos around that manage to give me chills everytime I listen to it.
yeah that was something else it was such a nice day at this festival =)
What is also incredible is the crowd sings along with the guitar and drum bridges. Freddie died in '91 so the bulk of this crowd was born afterwards, yet they know every word and love it. Queen's and Freddie's power over a crown of fans will never end. Every time the song is played on the radio, I also sing along. Every time. Miss you Freddie!
The power of Freddie 20 something years after his death 🙏🙏🙏 The power of Queen. The power of music! Incredible!! LONDON TOWN! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
In every concert, they put music (actual track songs on the speakers) for help people pass the time until the gig starts (because we are there for hours), is not someone playing, is the track itself and people are singing with it
Such a brilliant reaction... Thank you
Timeless, brilliant Queen still rocking a crowd
They crowd surged forward for a few lines and waiting. Humanity at its finest.
You can tell that a song is immortal when the fans sing the guitar solo! 65K+ was the estimated size of the crowd, I read. And every one of them pitch-perfect and in perfect time [apart from a slight hiccup on the Scaramouche bit!]
It's one of those songs the band plays before going on stage before their show.
Once they saw this reaction they were like...ok , nope, and they stayed backstage to watch this whole thing go down apparantly.
That says it all it moved me to tears there was more then one famous Queen of England and he was more popular when a crowd of strangers can harmonise so in sync with one another and never miss a word that means Freddie left his mark on a lot of hearts.💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
That was AWESOME! I was just starting to think no one under 30 knew who Queen was and the world was going to come to an end. Thank you for that!
This is one of the most amazing things... and says everything about one of the greatest bands of all time that were SO far ahead of their time that THIS happens at a Green Day concert in 2017.
They are opening for the concert.
Amazed and crying the first time I saw it. Notice the clouds...they don't move the whole time the song is on....then they move again..like the world had to stop to hear Freddie.
You know your band made it in the big league, when you got Queen as opening act😉
Check out Love of My life, live at Wembley 86. I was there, and it was amazing to hear the crowd sing ...
Wow... this is so beautiful... imagine being there. Freddie forever. ❤️❤️ Miss him so much
I was in that crowd and I can safely say it was magnificent
I had a kid(20 }or so singing to queens song new all the words ..love the song and loved the music ,,he also is a singer and drummer ,,, so young enjoying it now,,,again
cant help but sit in tears everytime i hear the crowd sing amazing. hope the rest of queen seen and heard this and so proud
Thank you Robb for not cutting it the whole .... This is beauty at its finest.... Love Freddie!!!
freddie and queen = best band ever ! and thanks my brittish friends ... i was there this day and it was a heart warming and one of the best experiences in my life :) 60 000 peeps singing to freddie in the sky bet no one will do that to the music peeps of today ... and i know why ... they only think about how the look and not the music the leave behind ... pink floyd and queen fan FOREVER !
Honestly... While everyone else speaks the obvious, of how wonderful it is and how Freddie would love it... I honestly love the fact that you are caught up in the magic of it. You were entranced, and were singing along just as much as any other member of that crowd. That, to me, shows your true love of music. That you're not afraid to just let yourself be caught up in the moment.
I think the music came from the speakers on the stage. The crowd did the singing. And most, if not all of them were born long after this song was released. (!)
You, sir, brought tears to my eyes.
I could feel your pure love for music, I could see how a person should really grow and become. I didn't really had a model to follow but I know now that when I'm gonna be older I wish I will become like you.
Thank you.
Thank you for your acknowledge Merry Christmas! Music is stronger than words!
