Pilotwings is a flight simulator game from Nintendo for the SNES. The player earns pilot's licenses through light plane, skydiving, rocketbelt, and hang gliding events.
This run clears all 8 lessons and the 2 helicopter missions without ever piloting the light plane.
Pilotwings SNES is a type of game that makes you goes “I just wanted my pilot’s license, but I ended up being a national war hero.”
Having your flight instructors regularly kidnapped by rogue nation-states really makes it difficult to get a good education :)
This post doesnt make any sence lol maybe read before you type bro.
@Trimint123 also a penguin 😂
Instructor: "The High Altitude Low Opening Jump, the HALO jump is where we get the most fatalities, so listen up!"
Student: *Jumps off of helicopter with middle finger raised
Does this panty waste know what he's doing?
Aww. Pilotwings is another classic from my friend/childhood.
Would be fun to see a "100% TAS" someday.
On My life, i only have seen this cartridge only 1 time and this is the first time i decided to watch a video of how it looks the game.
6:24 - i would've said it differently but yeah I agree with the guy. That's some Grade S Bull
I hope somebody someone makes a run getting the maximum possible points for each lesson
"Rate of descent too great... Great landing", it said as the skydiver was being pushed by a block
1:45: "Great landing", it says as your skydiver is not only dead, but *twitching*
How 6:20 counted as "landing in the pool" is beyond me.
Pixel perfect I'm guessing
pool...of blood.
"Was it luck, or was it skill?"
I don't think it was either
Made me lol haha
To achieve the highest flying certification possible, having never even touched a plane...
I never understood the hang glider in this game, it had odd physics, but they use it (and everything else) FLAWLESSLY here, I wish I were a TAS bot...
9:40 Thad dude looks like Robert Z'dar.
"Was it luck? Or was it skill?"
"So you're a pilot?"
"Yeah"
"How many hours have you logged flying a plane?"
"Plane?"
15:50
Pilot: 100% landing backwards
Lance: 🤯
My favorite of the Mode 7 games (okay, maybe Mario Kart is better). This is one of those games that you could introduce to a non-gamer back in the day and they'd still have fun.
This music is pretty good, its just a shame I only hear SiIvagunner rips whenever this game is played.
Who needs planes?
Protótipo de ace combat
I like this game. Any remakes?
🤨
