Andross on Route 3: Ah...Your choice of routes took me by surprise!! Also Andross on Route 3: **Has trickier obstacles in the corridor that leads to him** _Also_ also Andross on Route 3: **Has a second form to his psychic shell**
My guess is that Andross purposefully had gaps in his defences to lure Star Fox towards the point of least resistance in order to trick them into destroying his decoy-self. So seeing Fox go through where his defences, and real self, are toughest, result in this surprise.
I Mean, the OG Star Fox (Along with the Then Unreleased Star Fox 2) are part of a different continuity than the Games from Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars onwards, so There are Many differences
Yes. When Andross took over Venom he forced the natives to build him an industrialized city and polluted the atmosphere. In Star Fox 2 you can see the planet has returned to its natural state.
They honestly don't really world build enough to explain what is going on in Star Fox or Star Fox 64. Some throwaway line about Andross seizing power and enslaving everyone to work on his war machine but if you take him out they're free?
Venom does have people living on it but the exact specifications are unclear. Andross rules over them, and it's possible he made life livable on the planet during his exile - it was a very inhospitable place.
If you have Netflix watch the series HI-SCORE during the Nintendo Vs Sega Wars theh talk about this game and how it pushed the SNES hardware and how they managed to get it working. I Found this gane so hard compared to SF64. But the music was so much better in this game
I never liked how the Metal Smasher would self destruct after destroying one of its halves. It would have made for a more interesting fight if the second half just unloaded its arsenal against you until either you or it was destroyed.
The only recurring bosses in the series besides Andross, and Start Wolf is the Attack Carrier, and Monarch Dodora. I guess it would be nice to see Phantron again. There is a enemy vehicle in Starfox 2 that looks similar though.
I hated the SNES versions of Starfox when they came out and still do, they literally hurt my eyes so bad. Frame rate is awful. I understand they have their fans, but it ain't me.
Despite it's flaws, it wasn't as bad a game as some say. If the controls were more like SF64, and it had a few more level routes, and secrets, it could of been pretty good.
im both impressed and disgusted. i only played star fox 64, and it is amazing to see this game on SNES running that well. and still, it looks and sounds so bad in contrast. really impressive still. are there legit 3D-like games on NES? would be amazing to see a even more reduced version on gen older.
@@mmessner1353 Better design, atmosphere, gameplay etc. It'd be like saying modern Star Wars is better than old Star Wars, it's not. Star Fox 64 is good, Star Fox SNES is perfection.
the boss designs were so creative even with the limitations of the system...

最初のボス、ゆっくり影から登場するのが演出としてすごいと思いました!

I used to watch my dad play this game . When I was a toddler. And now I am really good at this game.
Gotta train them when they're young

Great Commander is the vocabulary synonym of the word "bullshit".

The game seems hard enough. A phase like that would seem unnecessary.
That dang face boss was hard as a kid
You mean Andross?
Oh no! Its an invasion of the scrapped Sonic special stages!
I'm so sad phantron(5:31) didn't get included in any other games

According to SSB it's safe to say it isn't his "true form." More like a "revenge form."
1:42 smbz used good music was wondering where it came from
19:47 man that boss was my worst nightmare. I did beat it but I didn’t expect it to be back in Star Fox Zero. And there was a red one too. Sheesh
Boss for Sector Z was never a problem.
Level for Sector Z made me want to rage-murder everything & everyone past, present, and future
Agreed as a kid it was impossible to dodge obstacles on sector z
And I thought shooting down the missiles was bullshit.
There was a huge slowdown in that Atomic Base 2 stage I remember.
I like this version of Andross
The greatest star fox that is ever made😊
