Great video as always and a fab partnership! Rapha definitely feel like the right fit for a collaboration with Bang & Olufsen.

I had a pair of E8 2.0 which were good. However I’ve just bought a pair of these Rapha x B&O E8 sports. They’re beautifully made. I find these ones feel a lot more secure in the ear than the version 2.0. I’ve tried all the different tips and wings and find the ones that were already fitted to the buds fit me best. The 2.0’s used to drop connection, the music would cut out for a split second quite often when out walking. Also, whilst out walking with the version 2.0, on 3 occasions the bud tips disengaged and were stuck in my ear, I had to take tweezers everywhere I went. I’ve had no issues with these sport versions so far. I’ve tried them out watching sky sports on my laptop, UA-cam and Netflix and there is absolutely zero lag with the audio, everything is synced perfectly. They don’t have ANC but when I’ve got music playing I don’t hear background noises. I didn’t buy them for taking calls so haven’t tried that out. I love everything about them, the case, the design, battery life, the fact they’re waterproof is a big bonus. Not cheap at £300 but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend them
I’ve been using Rapha for road cycling for years now and I agree that they make superb cycling apparel. I happen to have been at their store in Manchester too. Not something they have in every country, so you guys are privileged, although it is a British brand :). Good to see a new collaboration between two of my favourite brands after the previous one on the H6. As for the E8 Sport limited edition, I wish they had painted the ring on the earbuds white but pink does have a long tradition in cycling. Such as the pink leader’s jersey at the Giro d’Italia. Interestingly I am seldom attracted to these collaborations even though I love and use both Rapha and B&O. I like to separate things but I am sure there are many who will really appreciate this collaboration. Just like runners the collab for the E8 Sport with the Swiss brand On. Or Formula One drivers the collab with Alonso :). And John, good job of you to introduce Rapha’s Manchester store! Inspired to start road-cycling? :)
Great comment, thanks Csaba. I used to have a fairly nice road bike, I tried it but found it wasn't for me. I sold it and moved on with my life. I just found it very unnerving being around fast moving traffic on such skinny tyres .
@@BangOlufsenManchester I can relate to that! It’s a bit of a stress being overtaken by cars and lorries in a constant stream. I am lucky to have a safe way to ride out of the city and within half an hour I can reach an area where mountains, lakes and forests rule. On a calm Sunday morning with next to no traffic it’s magic! Especially on the descent :). It’s incomparable to being honked down and squeezed off the road by bus drivers :).

Thanks Micky, practice makes perfect. It's only a short video but it took quite a lot of time to put together. That gave me a mental image of Boss Man Ian and I on a tandem....not happening! John

Hi John! I've got a question for you: Last year i bought the B&O M3 and it is perfect but i would to expand the sound with another speaker; can i use my Beoplay m3 with the m5 in a stereo mode in addition to the multiroom mode? (sorry for my english but i'm italian)
Hi, you can use any of the multiroom speakers to join to M3 but not stereo. There is a software update on the way that will allow 2 M3's to be joined in stereo via Chromecast though.
Can we do sport with the Beoplay E8 2.0?
do they work with "Hej Siri"? ;)
They work with Google Assistant by pressing and holding the right bud. I'm sure Siri is the same.
