I’ve just compared again the memory foam tips and rubber ones on my EX ear buds
Your analysis is SPOT ON Steve !! Much warmer , rounded no shrill with the memory foams on and solid bass 👍👍👍

I recently bought the EX most definitely the ear fittings make all the difference between sounding ordinary and excellent. Credit to BnO they gave me 4 options of rubber ear fittings and the memory foam ones . I imagine the memory foam tips aren’t as durable however they do seem to have a more rounder sound
Thank you! Yes, I would be happy to replace the memory foam ear tips from time to time if that is needed, as the improvement in the sound makes them worthwhile
The Comply foam tips are definitely best sound-wise, but the largest-sized silicone tip is almost as good (for my ears anyway) and are more comfortable and easier to pop in and out. If fitted properly with the right fins these will NOT budge in your ear, even doing heavy cardio. Since they're waterproof, it's natural to think these would be great in the shower but imo it seems there's too much risk of getting a drop of soap, shampoo, shaving cream, etc on the drivers. I think that happened to me and they were buggy for a few days, but eventually sprang back to full-sound life. I can only compare these to Bose and Sennheiser (wired) earbuds I've had in the past but these are so much better there's simply no comparison. Curious if they're replacing with something else since they've been discontinued

I'm I losing 4k Sound not using the cable that came with the the H95 Steve
This sounds like an issue with the sound encoding in your TV - best to check the TV audio output settings first as this doesn't sound like a cable issue.

Hi, I haven't tried the regular E8 earphones, but I understand they aren't waterproof like the E8 Sport
If you can adjust the background noise it must be a noise cancelling
There's definitely no ANC on these. If there's a good enough seal on your ear from using the right sized tips or the Comply foam the passive noise cancelling is already quite good
@@donello430 that's not what he said he said he can adjust the background noise in the app different settings nothing to do with the comfort fit
@@hoobsgroove He was showing the transparency mode, ie the mics allow some ambient sound in. The right sized tips will create a seal that is basically a fairly good natural, passive noise cancellation (ie your ears are plugged) which isn't the same as ANC, if that's what you mean

@@donello430 I knew it had mics but I thought that was just for noise cancelling. theoretically you should be able to make it into noise cancelling If somebody adds some parameters to the software hack the app
