SOME ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Slight hiss
Bright sounding
Could use a bit more instrument separation
Less full sounding, and more focused with spotlight on high vocals
With “Workout” EQ” you get a more rumbly bass, but it is slightly muddy and sounds distant (being that is is essentially maxed) - and then the high bass is still a bit muted
Not great balance
Slightly thin sounding
Swell around 200-500 Hz, and dip in high bass making a slightly thin sound profile. Definitely decent, but too much accent on high vocals and snare
Less full, warm, and rich in comparison the the Sennheiser Momentum TW2’s
Less detail with bass up to low vocals
Lots of detail on high vocals
VERY little lag!

at that price point without anc is crazy, anc is the new standard especially at this price point, think i'll go for the new sennhisers momentum 2

How to connect, I tried there is no blue light indicator.
I'd consider it if it had Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), which is what I'd expect for $349. I'm planning to purchase the $299 Sennhesier Momentum 2 when it's released in April 2020.
Yeah that is a good summary. ANC is essential for that price with this feature set. The Sennheiser buds will probably be a good choice for you

Dude... They either sound good or they don’t. No matter the price point. And these sound more than excellent ! I use them every day and every time i am delighted to fire them up.
The phone call is horible,no active noise cancelation and verry expensive..that white noise is also disrupting..send them back,no more BO for me.

By the way, its application is one of the best, from there you can enhance its sound in bass or make it more crystalline in treble. Believe me when I tell you that they are the top of the range in sound. they are worth what they cost

Just ordered them from Amazon for 149.00. They are adding a $100 coupon at the check out. My iPod Pro earbud tip just broke off into my ear taking it out. I had to get it pulled out with tweezers…that left a very bad taste in my mouth for Apple. I don’t expect these to have all the features or sound as good, but since the price was what it was…I’m going to give them a shot.

Did you test them with comply foam tips sir? I have first gen boplay e8 and sennheiser momentum true wireless and the sound quality of e8 with comply foam tips is better than sennheiser's imo.
Interesting. What type of music do you listen to? Did you not have a hiss in the background? No matter what I tried with eartips, fit, and EQ, I couldn't make these sound anywhere near as good as the Sennheiser MTW2's
@@MikeOBrienMedia Thank you for your feedback. I don't like to limit myself with any type, so I listen them all and I like flat responses from my devices. I don't have any hiss at my firt gen e8. So, sound quality is very subjective than :)

@@MikeOBrienMedia nice! I got my active 75t but they keep falling out my ears. Whatever earplug I use. I am used to the Samsung Buds and they don't fall out because of the wingtip.

I did order those as they look good and I am a fan of the brand, but from what I hear, I probably going to try them for a bit and sell them eventually.. I always use headphones separately, I rarely use both. I got them for a 100$ so still a good deal on them

@@satellite3253 To each their own, but some of the features these offer are really good. And sound quality is subjective. I really like these, and ANC isn't even a feature that you really need on earbuds. More a good feature for headphones.. ANC on earbuds makes the audio quality worse.
Maarten I have the AirPods Pro; ANC is an awesome feature and sound quality does not get worse from it. How would you buy these for 350$? They’re missing quite some features.

Reason being with such a small size it's not gonna have great bass anyway, so I think they know what they are doing
I have the p2, and will get the e8 later. I like how both b&o and Sennheiser sound, but b&o has slightly better call quality
is it true that the sound signature is identical to the version 2.0? I ordered the first because of that, I will never pay 350 for an earbud without anc, I have MTW 1 and I intend to test the 2 in the future but I am hearing that the sound is different and less immersive with less bass.

Noise cancellation is NOT needed at all. Isolation is excellent.
Should I get it if I get an offer for around $200? Or should I still go for other earbuds with anc? I'm not a bass head, prefer balance sounding audio

I can absolutely assure you these are not worth this price. The case has an incredibly weak and vulnerable hinge. There is notably an aluminum rim around the whole case except the one place it would have provided support. The hinge breaks very easily and B&O must know this because a new case is 60% of the cost of new headphones. It’s an outrageous design flaw that must be intentional since someone decided not to stop the aluminum at this point.
I have the E8 sport (same hardware but waterproof) and they sound amazing, it’s everything balanced as it should, a real pleasure to listen. Also the level of detail is way higher than common earbuds. With the memory foam tips they sound even better, you don’t need to boost the bass cause it sound perfect with their sound signature
It seems like you don’t even know what you’re talking about, or maybe your listening is used too much to ultra muddy bassy mainstream tunings, and you don’t know how good shit sounds like anymore.
B&o is working on audio since 100 years, they definitely know what good sound is.
Your review seems unfair and not honest at all. you’re obviously trying to push other products by talking bad about this one.

Got them for 160 euros on Amazon, a real steal for the sound you get and the durability

Good review! It's a shame about the hiss. Is it noticeable at all volumes, even at moderate volumes? I have the beoplay h9 3rd gen, which i really love, so im still tempted to at least give the e8s a try.
I was hearing a hiss at all volumes unfortunately but if you give them a try, please come back and share your opinion on them!
The most recent update 5.7.0 made it a bit better. Hiss is slight when listening to podcasts. When listening to music, however, I personally don’t notice any hiss.

@@MikeOBrienMedia hi, ive been using these for a couple days and personally don't notice a hiss. They did have a large update, which i did before use. Its likely that update may have improved the hiss.

2) Discrete looking
3) Good sound quality
I think so far there are no such true wireless earbuds that has these options. Maybe Jabra Elite Active 75T? but I've heard it's very bassy.. but I'll still go for it :D

I have the gen 2 and im keeping it with me as the aesthetics looks way better than this. This should be for those whom have the Gen 1 and wants an upgrade and can consider skipping the Gen 2

Can I connect 2 devices at once ?
I have the v1 E8s and as much as I love the looks and the sound quality, they just aren't comfortable for extended use and these look pretty much the same. $350 is also way too much for the features, as you can get the same for almost a $100 less in other brands. If the Sennheiser Momentum TW was available where I live, I'd have definitely gone for it but the only ones I found were on classified ads and way too expensive.

every audiophile I know said these are great and are better than the majority of the competition. Add silicone to it and you wont miss ANC. Your list of drawbacks is insane considering your alternatives are worse (excluding Seinnheiser of course) Good review though.

Unfortunately i can no longer recommend this headset due to the fact that i need to reset them several times a day and they can loose connection again within minutes. This is not sustainable and i have contacted the seller. How will this be solved ? I wonder...

These work for most basic workouts like walking or light running, but for anything more intense, I found that these tend to fall out

No white noise on my pair of E8 3.0 and considering the driver is 1.3mm smaller than the sennheiser momentum true wireless 2 drivers they sound amazing. I am connecting them to a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus 5g with Dolby atmos on set to Neutral and both the E8 3.0 and MTW2 sound profiles were each set to neutral. IMO there is very little difference between the 2 both sound amazing in certain songs I thought the E8's sounded better and others the MTW2 I use comply tips on both the E8 & MTW2. The missing anc feature was no big loss as with comply tips very very little is heard with no music playing and with music on turned up max volume no matter where I was and what environmental sounds were going on I heard next to nothing using either the E8 without anc and the MTW2 with and without anc obviously with anc on using the MTW2 was best but surprisingly not by much call quality on the E8 is better I think and I enjoy having wireless charging due to being able to reverse wireless charge using my phone. Both are just as comfortable as the other or at least I found them to be battery life very little in it tbh and for me price was no issue as both my E8 3.0 and my MTW2 were free if I was to buy either of these I would be very torn but price does favour the MTW2.
B&O AKG JBL=Samsung
They are a disgrace. Trading on a name but sadly a name made on looks and never great performance. They have looked amazing for 50 or more years but internals have never lived up to their external beauty. Thanks Mike.
