Alreet mate .. good effort on the fishing in those conditions .. the bass like a bit white fizzy water and bit swell but that looked a bit uncomfortable .. I fish the same marks lure fishing for bass so may see you out one day .. I’m guessing that second spot you were at was the small beach just before you get too rocky island ?

Happy days mate will probs see you out and about, yeah just the little beach opposite cast aways down the ramp, first time tried there will probs bring waders next time so I can get to more spots. Appreciate the advice too mate!
@@NorthumbrianFolkery no probs mate , what’s ya first name ? I’ll come have a bit crack with you if I see you while I’m fishing .. I was guna suggest you get ya waders on next time your out coz sometimes the bass are just out of casting range when your chucking out from the land .. waging in a few yards can sometimes be difference of catching and not catching .. give the ramp another few whirls as I’ve had a few schoolies from there .. do you bass fish from rocky island too ?

Aye deffo mate that would be good! and sweet cheers, I will deffo bring them next time, and the only places I've tried round there are the rocks over the back of the allotment at low tide, and then the bit round the back of the little pier next to Sluice harbour, my lass caught a Pollack there last year hahah. I'm yet to get anything myself yet but wouldn't mind a few bass haha. Did see a massive one jump out the water though once when I was there, looked about 5-6lb hahah
@@NorthumbrianFolkery hi Paul .. it’s good idea getting your lass out fishing as it means when you sometimes want to stay longer when having a good session she’ll understand when you bring saying you’ll be another gee hours 👍🏻 our lass comes with me the off time and just sits and reads her book .. the big fish you seen jump would’ve been a sea trout Paul .. there’s loads on our coast .. keep at it and you’ll get a bass defo mate .. I blank loads as that’s what north east bass fishing is I’m afraid .. makes it more special when you hook into one though .. I’ll share some other good bass marks with you if I see you when I’m fishing .. I’m out for bass with my lure rod once a week at least .anywhere from seaton sluice to Howick .. tight lines bud

And the second one was the little bay in Seaton Sluice (not sure of its name) but its just down the ramp opposite castaways cafe.
