Had to find this video on my history to comment . Previously watched it and seen a couple changes I could make based on your info . Well I put it the test today . Between me and my son we had 9 over 55cm bass . Largest 64cm . Every days a school day if you watch and listen . So thanks and tight lines
I watced half a video and it's earned a subscription already. Excellent fisherman and very informative, I'm looking forward to learning more. Thank you.
Hi, great blog! The last time I went sea fishing was 60 years ago, but after watching your blog, I feel I have to have a go! I fish once a year when on holiday, I have lots of lures and what not! Many thanks! OH - Do they still use led weights to cast long?
I’ll reply as no one else has, that’s brilliant you still want to get out and have a crack yes we still use lead weights and tackle is varied depending on what your fishing for, but squid bait and lures will work fantastic for bass! 👍
Nice session, I have sessions in Ireland like this sometimes. Caught a huge seatrout yesterday evening i took a quick clip of it and left it go. Some fight off a 4lbs seatrout
A brilliant video very informative & very helpful. I came across your channel & it was definitely worth subscribing to your channel Looking forward to seeing more content from you
Great tips sir, I was always thinking that casting a lure as far as you can is always the better option but you proved me wrong. I will definitely try your techniques!
Tremendous video pal, you hooked plenty nice bass there, you also hooked me. Just subscribed and liked. Looking forward to the estuary bass hunt. Tight lines buddy.
Absolutely brilliant video, really informative and helpful. There was some fantastic tips and advice, which I have already taken on board. Can't wait to get out again and put them to the test. Glad I found your channel! Subscribed of course!!👍👌
Always caught and released [usually] mackerel, herself of 28 years+ reminded me "Your not cooking that this kitchen" Sadly a deep fat fryer relocated to the workshop didn't smell good for a country week!
Just watched the video and subscribed. Great watching and found it very informative. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you. Just one question. What size Sandy Andy's would you recommend for a surf beach?
The common theme on all these videos is white wash water, oxygen rich water. Bass don't need to work hard to move in white water. They can stay stable and attack prey without burning up energy
Just come across this video verygood indeed 🤘🏻 just getting my morning fishing action b4 work 👍🏻 also if you would of been fishing on your own would you wear a self inflating life jacket as the water looked a bit ruff near the end of the video when you were on the rocks ?
Brilliant video I’m lucky enough to live in Cornwall but have struggled to catch many bass I think after watching this video I’m try to cast to far I’m lobbing my lures as far as possible and getting no where I’ll try and fish in the surf next trip out
I think the "where" does matter. On my local beaches you never get Spring tide high water at dusk or dawn. They are always around midday or midnight. The best tides for us are mid-range ones. Mind you, mid-range here is bigger than anything Cornwall will ever see!
Excellent, thanks very much. Do you fish through the high tide? Just wondering if you find one side better than the other? Here on Sark I have only caught bass around low tide, but I'm tempted to give high another go after seeing your video.
Hi Timbo, the beaches around you are fantastic for Bass. Check out Fisho Rob he is a the best fishing guide in your area and regularly post about what is happening in your area.
Thanks Ian, I was getting jealous of all the fishing you have been doing all over the place recently, so thought I would have a session myself. Fishing has been really good recently.
I normally beach fish of east coast near thorpness but really want to lure fish there what is best time of year to lure fish there for bass ? Excellent video and really enjoyed it thanks
Quality video mate. Not long getting into it meself only caught one on the paddltail soft plastics and it was a very good size a don’t think I will get one that big again 😂 never fished the surf yet waiting for me waders coming can’t wait tho.. which tide is the best would you say for the surf like what time of the tide ?
Hi Bruno as I mention in the video the best tides are spring tides with a high water coinciding with dawn or dusk. However I catch Bass at most stages of the tide, but my often my most productive time on some marks is fishing low water up.
Hi Lee. The Majorcraft is 9ft long and 10-30g casting weight. I have used other rods in the past including the HTO Nebula and Savage Gear SG8 and no other rod comes close to the Majorcraft. I use Berkley 12lb fluorocarbon
@@Saifounify 25g is probably the optimal weight for the rod. The rod is as you say rated between 10 and 30g. It will cast outside of those weights without breaking. However your distance will be cut down considerably.
The exact reason I won't tell you where the beach is, is because you know nothing about catch and release. The limit of Bass you can take is 2 per day between April and December and they must be a minimum of 42cm
Greetings from Casablanca Morocco, to my beloved nation, the Brits ! We also have plethora bass in the Almighty Atlantic ocean ! Just subscribed to your channel. Thank you for sharing. Take care for now. By the way! Whereabouts in England were you fishing my friend?
Thank you Freddie. My friend who is a guide in Morocco tells me you have amazing Blue fish and Learfish that can be caught from the shore as well as large Bream. I would love to come to Morocco to make a video and experience the fishing.
Don’t be ridiculous!!! Clearly you must be new to fishing! No one is going to tell anyone online information like that or my mark would be rammed with anglers. Fishing etiquette dictates that you never ask a question like that.
This is his beach. There are many like it, but this one is his. His beach is his best friend. It is his life. He must master it as he must master his life. Without him, his beach is useless. Without his beach, he is useless. He must cast onto his beach true. He must cast truer than his subscribers who are trying to steal his beach. He must catch before he is caught.
Mid January through to mid April can be slow, but after that if you get these conditions then you can have a good session, but the better sessions are normally September through to the end of December. Good luck on catching one. I will do another video in a few weeks on catching bass from estuaries
So you say wind in your face, imagine you are on the south coast and you have a south east or westerly? And maximum wind, because of knots casting into it is a pain
It doesn't matter what coast you are on, as you need the wind onshore to blow the baitfish onshore. I use Berkley Nanofil rather than braid. I have been using it since it was released almost 10 years ago. The first batch had a fault that gave it a bad name but Berkley resolved that and now I would never use anything else unless I couldn't get Nanofil. In the million plus casts I must have done in the 10 years I have been using it I have only had two wind knots. Forget your expensive 8 strand braid, you still get wind knots with that, just use Nanofil its brilliant.
God tells . Me he could just manifest fish onto the beach but we like fishing and it occupies our time and gives us something enjoyable to do so thats why we fish
Not quite Arch. I normally have a few of them a year and often with bigger fish, but it feels great when I have those sessions. It makes up for the times I blank.

Super informative video thanks. How many grams jighead does Savagear Pearl colored softbait has ? Thanks.
Great video, thank you for posting it. Do you find time of day matters much?
SW . Kerry Ireland . Those isolated surf beaches .
Just starting out with Bass v soon. Looking for places to fish Noth west or east. Good video dude
Great video... I love yards from a beach very similar to this one... I thought fishing in those conditions would be a waste of time.

A spring tide lasts for a number of days and the timing doesn't have to be exactly on dawn or dusk.
Very informative and helpful. Are you fishing the tide up or down?
Excellent, thanks very much.
