    I bought my Warrior a few months back and figured I just ride it like it is... Now a few months later I have been changing sparkplugs, mirrors (twice), new handle bar, grips and bought a BAK plus AIS block plates (which I still need to install) and will go for a different (solo)seat soon. I had to change tires and maintenance (which is normal). I have a lot of things on my mind that I like to do so I guess what you're saying is absolutely true... It's kind of a money drain but soooo much fun to ride. :) Like your content a lot! Thanks and greeting from the Netherlands :)

    There's still a few I need. I'd get that Kylenv mount but I need a new front tire soon. Left side really does make her look great, and with my shorter legs (5'9") I enjoy not hitting my knee on the scoop.
    Thanks for another great video.

      Hey, rhanms for watching and commenting! I would love a mount myself. Giving one away with that kit, and it kills me that I don't have one on my own bike even! 😂😂 I just got a new front tire this year, and went with the Avon Spirit. Pretty happy with it so far, and they had them priced cheap when I picked mine up. Just realized a few days ago that I'm about in need for a new back tire though. There's always something to spend money on. Thanks again, and stay safe brother!

    Dont make the mistake of swapping to the 33 tooth pulley if you're gonna be doing the wide tire kit. You'll feel the torque loss. Either stick with the stock 32 tooth, or go down to the 31 tooth. I've ran all 3, and since my rides are typically not cross country, I kept the 31 tooth on with the 280 kit.

I have offered Bryan a free Hidden Caliper as well as one to raffle off on his channel but Bryan refuses to take a free part!!!!! I told him it's not free it for him putting all this work into helping others and to me that is more then enough. Who knew I wasn't even started yet lol! Well I had 5 or so of these done already when I bought mine.
    Changing the stock seat was the very first thing I actually did. I couldn't ride 20 minutes stock and went with the PCS Potato Chip seat that PCS does/did. They shave the foam on your stock seat down to a better profile and re-cover it. The one must do mod IMO.

    • @RSWarriorBryan
      @RSWarriorBryan  5 років тому +1

      I love the look of the stock seat. Have checked out some others like Mustang, Corbin, etc... They all look ugly and too big in my opinion. Instead, I just stop every twenty minutes. 🤣🤣 smoke break!! I'll have to look at the potato chip seat though. Did it take forever to get done?

    • @kent6732
      @kent6732 5 років тому +1

      @@RSWarriorBryan I like the looks of the stock as well, especially solo with the rear seat off. The PCS Potato Chip is just shaved down so you're "in the seat" instead of "on the seat" if that makes sense. It really helps with the monkey butt and lower back.

      This is one of the mods I have talked to Bryan about recently. I just purchased a new stock seat and will take step by step pictures of how to shave one done yourself with no special tools and only takes a few hours and knowing someone who can sew or about $100 to recover. I have a many pictures of mods I will be sending him to slowly go over and show before and after. And as Kent linked PCS has what the call the Potato Chip seat... from what I've seen turn around is about 2 months plus shipping. I wish there was a way to post pictures, I just use a turkey carver I bought from Walmart for like $8.00 and slowly trim the foam down. There were a few people over this last winter who did this mod along with doing custom seat covers that turned out great I know one cost $75 and believe Alex who post often has his done for like $125... Just some Info. Feel free to Message Or call if anyone needs help as I can help walk anyone thru doing this mod.

    Hey Bryan! Thank you for all these amazing videos. Question: I am going to purchase the Blaster x integrated tail light, since it's LED do i need anything other special parts to install it or can it be installed just as is?

    • @RSWarriorBryan
      @RSWarriorBryan  4 роки тому +2

      Awesome light with some good features. You won't be disappointed in your purchase. The light is plug and play, so you can just wire it directly in and go. Only problem you will have is hyper blink. Since its an LED light, the rear signals will register as out and give you the fast blinking in the turn signals. You can install a relay if that bothers you, but I've run with it that way for years. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching and commenting. Stay safe out there brother!

    I did one that i rarely see is the 7° triple tree. I love the look even though i lost a little bit of handling and Low and Mean has them for about $700. I didnt put it on i sent it out. But that was my first mod i did when i got my warrior

    • @RSWarriorBryan

      That's definitely a mod that will make the warrior stand out from others. That and a wide tire kit are probably the two most noticeable mods in my opinion. Not sure if I'll ever get that done myself, but definitely love the way it looks.

    • @RSWarriorBryan
      @RSWarriorBryan  4 роки тому +1

      Very expensive! They have another option though. A lot of guys are getting the cheaper bulbs and with a little fabrication, you can make it work with the stock bucket and bead light ring. There is a bracket they make that also can be used to install, I believe it's made by Denali. You'll also need a small foam or rubber spacer inside the ring if that's the route you go. I definitely wish the Pheonix was at a price that I could justify spending on a headlight.

Thanks again for the idea, be watching for it to come out!

    • @sumar786

      @@RSWarriorBryan It could be aftermarket too, i saw on someones bike that was tall that he had gotten some extension arms or something so his legs are more forward facing. • @RSWarriorBryan
      @RSWarriorBryan  4 роки тому

      Thanks! I appreciate the compliment as well as you taking the time to watch and comment on the video. The 33 tooth pulleys are getting harder to find. One of the best places is to watch either ebay, or the forum. Heftysmurf on the forum will find them and get them ready to go before listing them for people to get. If you're able to find one on eBay, you'll have to mill it down to work. The problem is they switched the pulleys from the Roadstar from 33 to 32 back in like 03-04. The only ones left are old stock, or parts from older bikes. I'll keep an eye on the forum as well and if I see one posted, I'll definitely let you know on here. Thanks again, stay safe out there brother.

    And yet the bike your heart is aching for does exist based upon exactly the same 1700 Cc V-twin: The Yamaha MT-01, you know, the bike you Americans could not have since Yamaha USA decided not to import this bike for you guys... So the MT-01; what kind of bike is that, well At Yamaha in Japan they stripped a 2005 Yamaha R1: all fairings came off and they took out the 4 cylinder R1 engine and they placed a Road Warrior 1700 Cc engine into the R1 Frame....made it all fit very well and so The Yamaha Frankenstein MT-01 was born. Since the bike is based up on a Yamaha R1 Frame with the Yamaha R1 front fork/brakes and the Yamaha R1 rear fork/brakes, this bike rides like a dream, also when the corners are hit, after all this is a Yamaha 1700 Cc V-tiwn R1. So basically the MT-01 (Master of Torque number 1) is no, I repeat, no cruiser, but a naked bike based up on a Naked Yamaha R1 frame/ undercarriage.
