Very thankful that you put links and part numbers! Very thorough and knowledgeable. I do hope there will be an in-depth video on the clutch replacement as I plan to do that at some point next year. Thanks for all the videos and info.
Joey V thanks for watching! I plan on doing that clutch upgrade in the next couple months and will be getting a how to video made when I do. Hopefully the video hits the mark and is able to helping some people get theirs done as well. Thanks again!
Thanks for this. It was a great help. I will be ordering the clutch upgrade soon and watching your install video. I got everything else but the front pulley and I also went with the cobra fi 2000 power pro black. And love it. Then shortly after install realized I need a clutch upgrade 😂. Aka “Valley Warrior”.
Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope the video was able to give you a few ideas, if you haven't already done everything I talked about yourself. I've been thinking of doing a second one of these with a few more mods, because people seemed to really like this video. Thanks again Ricky. Stay safe brother!
I havnt done any of your mods, so I have some things to do now! But please hurry up with the second video! Cant wait! And please put in more content where you do the mods to your bike. Its always nice to see how its done before I start breaking my bike into pieces haha!... Drive like u stole it and a bit more. But be safe bro!@@RSWarriorBryan
Sounds like you've got plenty to do then! Hope that some of the videos I have can help walk you through some of the mods. I've already started a list for a second video also, so watch for it in the future!
Great video. Thanks for all the work you've been putting In. Couple questions, #1- are you going to be doing HC pistons ever? #2- can the cobra tuner and Ivan's flash work together or is it a 1 or the other deal ?
Just a question about the cables you have listed in your description. The one you have labeled as "Barnett's Clutch Cables +4 Stainless", is that one 4 inches longer than stock? I can't find any size info on either of the two clutch cables in their amazon description.
Thanks Alex for both watching and the compliments! If you don't have these mods and are looking to get just one, I'd go for the Ivans flash. It is supposed to be one of the best mods for the price. Have been looking into a fork seal video, but not just sure when I'm going to be able to get to it. Do yours appear to be in decent condition? Any signs of oil leaking from the forks? They usually last quite a while, but I think they are one of those things that are supposed to be checked every six months or so. Thanks again for watching and for being a subscriber. Hope the videos I get out this winter can help out some more.
Thanks Bryan, I actually did the AIS block off with the help of your video a few months back. I also got churckeys big air kit as soon as I got the bike since previous owner abused the bike and ran with out filter at all. Now I'm waiting on the wide tire kit from Kyle and new fender from Christok. I'll then try to paint/poweder coat. Lots of work ahead. All your videos are super helpful to keep me straight. Thanks again!
I'd love to get a kit from Kyle! The wide tires make the Warrior look even better, and somehow that's actually possible. Hopefully I can get enough monet saved up eventually to get one done myself. Glad that the AIS video was able to help. Going to be getting into the clutch conversion and 2 plate mod this winter, so if you haven't gotten that done I'll have some videos out for that as well as a few other plans.
Hay man cool videos i got a 05 worrier laid her down last year and now putting it back together. One item I have to replace is the handlebars I noticed yours I like them, where did you get them?
1. Did. 2. Not have had to do yet. 3. Biltwell Recoils are the best ever. 4. Seldom have a passenger but will get to it eventually. Barons also makes footpeg extenders. 5. No need to switch pulley yet. 6. I went with the Barons even though tempted by Patrick Racing. The coil relocation sold me on the Barons. 7. No need for the clutch just yet... someday. 8. Ivan's $350! Yikes! Power Commander 3 or 4 or 5? 9. Ah, more familiar with the Power Comander (above). 10. I have the Cobra 3 Pot Tuner (the lower end version of the Auto Tuner). 11. MY SUGGESTION FOR TAIL TIDY KIT. Barons costs like $125 or a lot more if you can find one. This one costs $40. extrememetalproducts.com/i-13354358-roadstar-warrior-license-relocating-bracket.html
Sounds like you've got a decent way through the laity already. I ended up going at my stock bracket with a dremel and trimming it down. It ended up coming out okay, but a professional one would probably be better. I had to bend my plate up because it kept getting into the tire and kicking it under the light. Looking into possibly moving it to the side once I lower the back end, but with it stock height, the gap is too much without a plate. Lol thanks for watching and commenting. I'll have to keep that bracket in mind if I decide to not do the side mount. Stay safe out there brother!
@@RSWarriorBryan haha any who besides that, really great video already ordered $500 worth of goodies right after i was done watching, V back and power commander for my warrior
You won't be disappointed! Both are great mods. Now you've been bitten by the bug though, modding is an addiction and just when you think you're done you find something else.
No problem! Thanks for watching and subscribing, I really appreciate it. Hope the video was able to give you a few ideas of mods if you haven't already gotten all of them done. My next video will be over the mods I actually plan on doing this winter. If you haven't done them, it'll give you time to pick up parts and have them ready when the videos come out you'll be able to install them also. Thanks again for watching!
Man, I was reading about that this morning. I'm sorry to hear that the bike is down. I wish I had a good answer for you to try and check and see what it could be. Was hoping someone else would chime in also with some good ideas. Most of the time that group is great for information. I assume you've checked other things around the area that could be rattling as well? I've heard of the tank rattling if the rubber bumpers are missing, or the intakes tend to lose screws and that could cause a rattle as well. Had you done anything recently to the bike before the rattle stated? From what I remember, wasn't it a really low milage bike?
@@RSWarriorBryan thank you. it's not a rattle, its was some real knocking. I used to run the bike w/o gas tank and it was still there. I will go to the motorcycle shop tomorrow and will see what they say :(
Definitely keep us posted in the group. Very interested in seeing what it ends up being. Always nice to know for future reference if it happens to anyone else.
Thanks for watching and commenting! Of course the five is gonna be a little newer and better. I believe that the price is even very comparable to the pc3, so it would probably be best to spend a few extra dollars and get the 5. Personally, I like the auto tuners. I went with the power pro black for that reason, and I believe that dyno jet actually has an auto tune for the warrior now as well. Of course, running different maps is going to allow you to squeak every bit of performance possible out, where as the auto tuners just give best air to fuel ratio at all times. Hope that answers your question, and thanks again for watching! Stay safe!
Hey Lorenzo, thanks for watching! You can definitely run a chain drive on a Warrior. G&S Cycles even sells a bolt on kit to convert it. Even has different sprocket ratios available. Personally, I've ridden sport bikes all my life and prefer belt drive. Have had a chain break before and caused a little more damage than a belt would have. Plus, no need to lube a belt, and they tend to be smoother and quiet. Of course, it's all just preference though. Here is a link to that kit though if you're looking for one yourself. Thanks again for watching and commenting! Stay safe brother!! www.gscycles.com/Catalog/index1.html?242.html&1
@@RSWarriorBryan thank Chum!!! Only concern is that statement about the chain package is only for racing hmmm.... So far I've seen this on two bikes one was a dragracer the other was a custom chopper...
Haha. They are the most efficient when compared to belt or shaft, and definitely easier to change than either the other two as well. That said I could see why you'd use one for racing, but I wouldn't figure that it would be a problem, for street use. They ask you to email them before ordering to let them know what combo you want. I'd email and ask why it's only race use.
@@40studds A chains biggest advantage would be if you had a giant rear tire. Really wide. Belts limit you on the size of rear tire you can run. Belt is better for stock and on the street.
@@exexpat11 now my next question is about the ignition coils... I've spotted a bike sporting the same coils to fire up a high performance Harley dual ports on the 1700 block... That seems simple... But the out put is???
Nice! I see one of those tearing up the streets around town where I'm from all the time. I'd be happy to line up with you. May even get fed my lunch. Thanks for watching and commenting Willie! Stay safe out there riding this year brother!
I have done five of the mods you mention. 31 tooth front sprocket, Churchkey's BAK. Iridium plugs do for sure make a difference. Great video.
