The fishiest part was when he said "I don't work on Saturday so I wasn't driving that day", then when it came out that it was on a Wednesday his GF said that he walks to work. It doesn't prove anything about the collision, but it does show that they're liars.

It strikes me odd that the defendant's boyfriend approached the plaintiff and said "our cars got into a situation" before she was able to id who owned the car. They definately "hit" her car on purpose.

I think it is more plausible that the plaintiff back up into the black car, and probably never even hit it,just wanted her previously damaged bumper fixed for free. Cause let's say it was the black car driving into the red,why would she leave it there ,instead of backing away. I think there both nice enough people, same with the boyfriend but the plaintiff should have had to pay the defendant harrassment counter sue.

And heck, even just a loud honk or flipping the bird while passing could initiate road rage. If someone's about to pull in front and they don't see you, of COURSE, you'd want to let them know by honking. But flipping the bird or something just isn't a good idea.

Get witnesses regarding who parked there first. Or what time they saw one or both cars coming to park. Whether the Plaintiff drove in the Defendant's car or otherwise.
Surveillance camera in the area can also help. Immediately calling the police to the scene is critical.
Taking pictures with dates appearing on the photos helps.

It’s giving nutty vibes. You get into with someone In traffic and last that day or the next day the parked in front of you saying your car hit theirs is so ironic and strange.

If the plaintiff drove into the Defendant's car, someone would have seen it and Defendants would have counterclaimed for something 🤔

The defendant and that thick neck looks like the man to me🤷🤦
Edit: then she starts talking and I see those big hands/wrist and wide chest. Then the heavy brow bone. Blue shirt is 100% a born male

On street parking , hitting a bumper (plate) is quite common, and it will happen to everyone and it is inevitable. Why do you think it’s called a “bumper”? And a backup camera is essential.
Secondly, nobody sticks around if they bump into someone else’s car while parking. They will park somewhere else.
Thirdly $1100 for a license plate frame? Somebody wants to make money.
Bumps like that happen to everybody - they just leave it and move on.

The only thing that isnt making sense to me is…if the defendant did hit the plaintiffs car on purpose, why leave the car parked there. Its like setting yourself up to get caught and have to pay for the damage..

    1. The fact that the plaintiff contemplated suing because she thought it may seem “petty” and 2. the fact that the defendant admittedly referred to her out her name (which lets you know that she was still mad) and 3. The fact that the boyfriend went to talk to her on 2 occasions about their cars being involved in an incident (never going after her for hitting their car). Let’s me know that the defendant hit her car. I think that if judge would have asked them to elaborate on what was mentioned during that conversation, some of the truth would have come out. Because if I thought you hit my car and you tell me you don’t have time to speak, I would say “we don’t have to speak, just give me your insurance information”. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I believe the plaintiff. She had her evidence and did the right thing to file for the damages, also she even apologized to the defendant weeks earlier from that incident. The defendants were lying and couldn’t even keep their story straight about when he went to work. That should’ve proved enough right there that they damaged the plaintiffs car, also because the defendant was so angry weeks earlier at the stop sign.

The name of the 'game' is EVIDENCE. You need that to prove your case on the preponderance of probabilities in a civil case. Once you fail that😢
