    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On UA-cam and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I hesitate to write this out of fear of jinxing myself, but I think you may have cured my slice. I just finished a very frustrating round this morning where I sliced every tee shot. I hit the driving range afterward and tried tips #1 and #2 from this video with only a little bit of success. But then I changed my top hand grip WAY more than I thought was needed and I started hitting everything straight for the first time ever. I think my grip was so weak that even moving it a little bit towards a stronger grip felt like overkill. But once I just accepted that the new grip was going to feel strange at first I started to get some good results. Thanks, Danny!

Whatever ball flight you want you want the opposite gripe to the ball flight you have more success with. That means if you prefer the draw. You are better off with a weaker grip. The best players ever used a neutral to weak grip. Including Ben Hogan, Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklauss and the list goes on.

Great video Danny!! As a high handicapper, this has got to be the best one I’ve watched. The way you’ve broken it down into sections is great and I will definitely be practicing these as much as I can!
Will this also work for iron shots, or this more driver related?
Thanks again for the great content 👍🏻

Nice one again Danny. I just got my handicap (18...no surprise!!!) and thanks to your tutorials I am starting to strike the ball better and lo and behold the odd 'golf shot'. My slice is much improved and I notice when I am very relaxed and warmed up I can hit quite straight drives. But when the pressure comes on (out of bounds right on 11 and 12) my booming slice comes back into play. I will stick to the drills you gave us and I look forward to sending it out over the woods to the right and drawing it back into the middle of the fairway. Thanks again for the really clear instruction and I will keep you posted. Michael from Ireland.

Loved the comment “from horrible slice to controllable fade” - that is where you have taken me on my following your channel for the past couple of years. This video is an excellent summation of the facets you have taught. Before following your channel, I was consistently in the high 90’s, now i am consistently in the low to mid-80’s. Small steps, consistency in developing a repeatable swing path and having these weekly lessons have been the keys to my dropping around 15 strokes! Keep up the good work Mr Maude.

I couldn't wait to get to the range and try out your tips, and the improvements that I experienced were drastic. Previously, I was consistently slicing my shot and right off the tee today I hit it straight and dead center. 80% of my subsequent shots were just slightly off center. Because of you, I now know how to practice my drive to be repeatable. Thank you.

Thank you Danny!!! You made a huge difference for my driver. For me it was the grip. I was holding the club wrong. Wow, what a difference at the range today. I still need time to get used to the new grip with my irons, but I'm really impressed with the new drives. They're both straighter and longer. You're an outstanding teacher.
