There's never guarantees when it comes to crashes, but Yammie Noob probably wouldn't have gotten his concussion if he was wearing the Arai he now wears.

Dan I have that same jacket! Had it since I was 17 when I got my first bike: 2003 Honda CBR954RR got the jacket the day I got the bike. Honestly one of the best jackets I've ever owned.

In the Northern part of QLD Australia, all we wear is summer gear because it doesn't get cold enough for winter gear lol Textile is all we wear too, unless we are going hard at the track or some spirited riding... the reason why is that Leather is hot as balls, and it's hard to keep fresh

Hey Do It With Dan, i recommend the Alpinestars Fastback WP boots for everday/commuter boots. They are east to get on and off, while still providing excellent protection. I've had mine for a couple years and they are holding up great.

Dan, helmets are only meant to survive one fall (even a few feet)... you throwing that helmet just made that helmet immensely less effective. Atleast, that is what I was told be three separate instructors and a shop.
dan how long have you been working out? just wondering because i wanted to know how long it usually takes someone to get the amount of muscles you have. i know everybody is different but i just want to know what to expect.
Probably not long, Dan isn't that big. Depending on where you're at right now you could probably hit where Dan is at in 8-12 months. If you're overweight it might take longer. I'm at about 6'2" 284lbs, bench 285, squat 355, and clean 250. I'm about 50lbs overweight and it probably took me 2 1/2 years to get comfortable at these weights. I'm not even putting up impressive numbers. I used to do better hefore I got fat and lazy. I think I remember Dan saying he repped 225? so he probably maxes pretty close to what I'm at. Any who I know I'm not Dan but I hope I helped. I'm confident a solid year of training can get you rawly to Dans level without any refinement.

Keep grinding man. In 6 months you'll make some decent progress as long as you do your research and figure out what you're doing. I went from 145 to 200 pounds in about 18 months of going crazy hard in the gym.
I used to talk shit on Suzuki's when I had my CBR 600F4, my F4i, my 929RR, and my R1 but then my wife and kids bought me my 08 GSXR 600 and I fell in love with it because it is all around the best bike I ever rode!!
