Had to rerun a the Oil pressure sender (OPS) wire in my 1993 244, for future people who stumble upon this video, the location of the rubber grommet into the firewall is more passenger side in the later years. The wiring harness runs down towards the passenger side under the dash to a WHITE 24 pin connector behind the left kick panel of the passenger foot well. The OPS wire is the black wire.
Question did you bypass the alternator all together? I think you did, but wasn’t sure. My wires to my oil pressure sender are completely bare. I’d like it working again. The heat from the manifold sucks . Great video btw

I think the bare wire also messed up my sensor, but now I know what wire to connect the new one to!
