That smile when he first starts driving really shows how in love he is
As a 2014 R/T Charger owner I can say I agree with most of your initial impressions although when you compare this car to others in the same price range it stands out as the biggest "bang for your buck." (If you want pure performance buy a V8 Mustang) I will say the steering is honestly pretty heavy but I never really feel like I am in a huge car; it gives me a good since of authority on the road. Coming from a BRZ/Mini into one of these is I'm sure a shock but it's not "that" big. At WOT I chirp the tires going from 1st to 2nd and my acceleration looks quicker from the videos perspective, not sure why this one didn't. On a side note: Not a fan of those wheels. Nice review as always!
Lol the mustang is a coupe. So duhh it's faster and more tossable. I own one of these as well. And I wouldn't even trade it for the Chevy SS. The SRTs main competitor. Know why?? Heated and Cooled Cup Holders!!!!! Putting a Sweet Tea from McDonald's in a cold cup holder has me spoiled to death.

Totally agree with your review on the driving dynamics, the 06 models and up have the same overall fell. Thats why I went with the charger though comfortable daily driver.

Love this thing, all modern muscle cars in general are cool especially eco-friendly v8's with COD (cylinder on demand) system and from your smiles seems like a pretty fast car!

Great review, great production. You need to take the traction control off, if you want to tear it up. The steering wheel has volume and track selection for the stereo.
I remember the first time I stepped on it too. Felt my lunch move.

The haters will be hopping all over this video as well as the fanboys. Why can't we just chill and appreciate the video(s)? He does both import and domestic. If anything it should be an example for us all. Both have their pros and their drawbacks, but in the end, no matter where you stand, you're a car guy.

you should add a closing segment to your show where it's just a drone overview of the showcase vehicle cursing in any switch up location of your choice with no voice over, or a very little, and the ambience sound playing from the cars moving location and just multiple views from a drone following the car. a peaceful ending
Awesome machine! I like the better seats for 2012. I also like the newly added paddle shifters with the Road & Track pkg. Also for 2012, the reaction time has been improved in autostick mode. I also like the more aggressive 3.06 gearing and better exhaust note that comes with the R&T pkg as well. Even though it's really heavy, it still runs 13.60's @ 104+ through the 1/4 mile on average. Not bad for 4300+ pounds. Great review by the way! I'm subbing after this comment.

I was blown away when I found out Dodge is still using speed density calculations instead of mass airflow like the rest of the world. I think it was an article about how they used one on the Hellcats.
I just looked at the inventory of harrison auto sales just for fun and dude, they have a orange 2006 Acura RSX Type-S 6 speed hatch that i think you should review.

Almost bought one of these. Wasn't the biggest fan of the interior and no M/Transmission. Cool Car and good job on the video.
100000% agree with the mds and shifting being annoying if you’re in a hurry, I drive pretty aggressive so the auto shifting was driving me insane, auto stick fixes that quick.

It's amazing that a screen used by Chrysler has been just ok for 8 years now, my 2016 has a very similar system and people still think it's "responsive"

What a Blast from the Past Matt. I had No idea how the interior is oversized for full sized humans. You were right you look lost in that driver seat. Haha. Must be fun looking back at these. I know I would.
The newer 8 speed feels so much better than the 5 speed. And the road and track gets the better axle ratio than the standard rt.

have you been able to review a 2015 charger? Its not as big as the older ones inside and really feels more like a sports car instead of a muscle car.
Used to have one of these till I got in an accident and it got totaled and let me tell you it's a safe car could have lost my legs but frame was strong and I came out with no injuries

I drove one of these at blue knob last year... I liked it :) The 2014 with the 8 speed is even better. Also, the beats audio isn't all that great. I drove a 300c about 2 months ago and wasn't impressed.
