I think the car is drop dead gorgeous !! It's got the sexiest rear end of any car on road right now in my opinion . I get nothing but compliments when in driving my new RT . The interior and the new class leading 8.4 uconnect entertainment system is absolutely brilliant and extremely easy to use surprisingly . Dodge has really done a fantastic job . Keep it up guys .
I first saw this car and I was hooked. I bought a R/T AWD with the 5.7 liter Hemi in black crystal pearl coat. Other than a glitch in the keyless entry system it has been trouble free so far. Keep up the good work Dodge.
@@extremedrivr ok but it’s still under the name “charger”. So no matter what they do with it, it’s still a charger. They could transform it into an SUV for all you know but it’s still a charger whether or not you like it.
@@oklol9 Its still not a charger. Why is this so hard for people to understand?? Lol The last charger rolled off the line in 1974. There hasn't been one since.
@@extremedrivr it may not be a “Charger” in the roots but it’s still NAMED charger. So obviously there’s some relations between the 2 versions. Plus, I actually like the 4 door.
@@oklol9 I never said I didnt like the 4 door because its has roots. You obviously understood what I was getting at with the roots it has not linking up with the charger nameplate. Basically all I am saying they need to do is put the Coronet nameplate on it and it will be a proper car in its roots at that point. Or else delete the 2 extra doors and keep the Charger nameplate on it. Not hard for them to do except that they are lazy. Lol
I got the 2012 blacktop edition, 25 mpg am averaging, all while getting from my best time 0-60 in 6.3 seconds with absolutely no mods. The V6 model is a winner!
@ginsunh I actually like that grille; it gives the Charger an aggressive, menacing appearance. Its cousin the Chrysler 300 has a redesigned grille with horizontal lines. I don't know if Motorweek has done a test with the 300, but other pages around UA-cam has tested it. Check it out.
@timforsyth89 And with the 8-speed auto, the EPA estimates for fuel economy? 20 city/ 31 highway for a rear wheel drive auto. And all wheel drive Pentastar vehicles which will debut next model year? 18 city/ 27 highway for all-wheel drive. It's comparable to crossovers right there. And not bad for a vehicle that weighs around 4300 lbs.
@AhJotahTube You're right. It compares to larger cars; for Dodge, with Accord and Camry, the Avenger compares to it. The best comparison would be the Taurus; however, it'd compare the Taurus SHO and the R/T V-8 AWD. That'll be a great comparison test.
I have a 2014 with AWD and it’s a solid cruiser. Chargers are one of the last big sedans on the road today. If you can find one in reasonable shape I’d say go for it dude
The old Dodge Charger engine was a 3.5 liter v6. The 2011 revamp came with a brand new and more powerful 3.6 liter v6. The old engine was around 260 hp and the new 2011 puts out around 300 hp.
For some reason I do not know Iike these old cars and old videos. Dodge Charger V8.Simple as that. Just grab some chips and cold Cola, and drive this thing.
I could never get one of these because Chryslers are still made very cheap. I saw a new Charger last night that already had semi burnt-out tail lights.
Dodge needs to abandon the gun sight grille. Its sole reason for existing was to differentiate a Caravan from a Voyager, or a Reliant from an Aries. Now that Plymouth is gone, that ugly grille is not needed.

The 2011-2014 charger was probably the most successful production sedan dodge has EVER made.
But we all know the real Charger is a 2 door Muscle Car.
Which means this one doesn't count because they added 2 extra doors that don't belong. Lol

This was the best model of the new chargers
the cops in my area got this charger as a part of their new fleet... damn they look good

Just ordered the new 2013 SXT PLUS Charger with the new 8 speed. 18 city 31 Highway. Can't wait!
“New 8 speed” sounds weird hearing😂
Where is it now

@ZSwierczynski Yes the 5.7 V8 is a carryover, but the the 3.6L Pentastar V6 is all new. They dropped the old 2.7L and 3.5L V6
Damn I want one of these. Can't get much with a newspaper delivery job though...
Start selling methamphetamine.
I love the back lights at night. So retro and cool

With its sexy good looks and v8-like power from its V6, this car sits right in the crosshairs of the Nissan Maxima.
I didn't care for the last model too much. This one I would own. Nice job Dodge.

the 2011-present Dodge Charger is assembled in
Brampton, Ontario, Canada
So
That car looks great in that cooler
4:31 doing 74mph on a rural road LOL
I've noticed that, it is odd, but it's for a reason... maybe to see the flasher better? A lot of new car's do that now

Physically I didn't think they could make this car better looking then the previously generation... I'm glad I was wrong.
But still no manual transmission right?
465 horses, is that the 392?
Where are the acceleration and handling time? I am disappoint.
If only they imported this to Australia, but at least we got the 300 srt8

It looks better from the back. The front is ugly.
BluStatic what about the newer dodge charger and challenger models
Seriously? A Fusion's trunk is larger than this supposed "full-size" car's.

Jeep Joseph he can’t afford the gas.
This car is so lame; ugly doors, dumb cross grille, and hideous color.
