- A few years ago on the channel I painted a reindeer Christmas themed dresser and it never sold. Today we will remove the Christmas and give it a different look in hopes that is finally will find a new home!

The original was beautiful, but my take on why it didn’t sell was because it was undeniably seasonal. So in the winter months it’s perfect, but for the rest of the year it wouldn’t seem quite right. The design and execution were spot on. And, as expel, your redo was amazing too!

How heartbreaking it was to see you have to remove that beautiful Christmas scene from this piece! If one has the space, it would have been so useful to store your Christmas pieces in. This was one of my favorite Cozy challenges! I appreciate seasonal themes that are more original than the usual red and green. If I had off-season room for storing this piece I would have considered this. I love the re-do of this chest of drawers and I hope that it sells quickly!

THE REINDEER TRANSFER, AS BEAUTIFUL AS IT WAS - IT MADE THE PIECE SEASONAL. A CHEST OF DRAWERS GETS USED YEAR ROUND. IT LOOOKS GREAT NOW. IT IS VERY PRETTY. YOU DID THE RIGHT THING DECIDING TO RE-DO THE PIECE. PEOPLE WILL DEFINITELY NOT SEE IT AS SEASONAL ANYMORE, BUT LOOK AT IT AS A BEAUTIFUL PIECE ANY TIME. I DON'T KNOW OF ANYPLACE ONE WOULD WANT TO PUT A CHRISTMAS LIKE TRANSFER. YOU CAN'T HELP BUT LOVE THE TRANSFER, BUT WHERE CAN YOU USE A SEASONAL TRANSFER? I CAN'T THINK OF ANYWHERE.

I thought the last look was creative rather than gaudy, but the more classic look is great as well!
I have to say, I much prefer the green. But it’s a shame that you had to destroy all of the work that you put into the Christmas theme.

Sabrina, the new makeover looks really nice. I loved the christmas dresser very much, only what do you do with it after christmas? I think that might have been the reason why it didn't sell.

Was it hard to undo all your hard work? Do you think it would have sold with just the decal and not the snowflakes? I hope you were able to salvage some of the snowflakes for a future Christmas craft. I like both versions, but I really liked the decal you did the first time.
It hurt a little removing all my hard work. So far I have had more interest in it already with the new look on Facebook Marketplace
