  • 🎨✨ Welcome to a DIY transformation like no other! In this video, I'm taking a humble vanity purchased from a charity shop for just £12 and giving it a stunning makeover using the power of paint and decoupage.
🖌️ Watch as I breathe new life into this piece of furniture, starting with a thorough clean using Sugar Soap to ensure a pristine surface. Then, I'm using Slick Stick to bond our paint to glossy surfaces, followed by layers of Frenchchic Whitey White, Dixie Belle Haint Blue, and Dixie Belle Dusty Blue for a dreamy, blended effect.
🌸 But the magic doesn't stop there! We're adding delicate floral details using acrylic paint in Titanium White, Prussian Blue, and Viridian. To seal and protect our masterpiece, we're finishing off with a coat of Polar Flawless Lacquer for a durable and flawless finish.

One of the easiest ways to fine the centre is to draw around the piece cut it out and then fold the paper. Also folding multiple times will give even spaces. Open out the paper and use the fold marks as registration marks on your piece. Hope this helps. Love the finished look.

I've found It's easier to have wet paint on both sides, the new colour your blending and the colour your blending it into.

Wow this is absolutely stunning! I have yet to see one that is better! I am speechless, would love to know exactly how you did those stems? Plaster? Like caulking? It sticks on its own? It’s brilliant so glad I found you!

Thank you for your kind words I'm blushing, it's the nicest comment I've ever had 😁 It's textured paste, 1 part PVA glue, 2 part talcum powder, and 1 part white paint, it lasts longer than plaster so you can work it for much longer 😊

Very nice...love the colors.Very labor intensive. I really like the piece Did you use cake moulds for the flowers? Either I am going blind which is possible...lol or Perhaps get yourself a ring light and your work will show up much brighter. Especially when you pan out... :)

Thank you I love these blues too, it was a little labour intensive but I love crafting and the end result was worth it. Thank you for the advice on the lighting I will look at that 😊

The piece is very beautiful and more than amazing, but the mirror holder was not that large, as I see from my point of view that it does not need any of the prominent patterns such as the paste and flowers that you used. It was enough just overlapping colors like the legs...but it is truly a truly wonderful work of art. I learned a lot from you.

I think the longest measurement would determine center top to center bottom. Your work is very tasteful.
