I completely agree about overconsuming fitness content almost as a means to procrastinate or to feel productive. If you're not being pragmatic, practical and intentional about how you take in information it's just another means of entertainment and procrastination but it's worse because it's giving you the illusion that you're productive and you're bettering yourself. You're surrounding yourself in that world, all the content you listen to and so on - the most important thing is literally to do it. I am guilty of this happening to me a lot!

You do a great job of linking concepts that people might not realize are related. Cheat meals making it harder to stick to a meal prep. Social media and adult content use making it harder to stick to a "boring" lifestyle, because of dopamine spikes. This holistic approach builds a health foundation for life. Not just looking good for a few years and then relapsing into our old selves.

Consistency is the key. Think about the long term. If you have a cheat meal or a few beers at the weekend, keep the diet going and keep the work outs going. If you want size and be shredded it's gonna take time but got to have a life too. Imo.

I found this channel recently and I am really enjoying it.... Well for me the diet part is easier.... Not that I don't eat pizza sometimes but I find it easy to make the biggest part of my diet clean and healthy... The issue for me really is with the training part... Honestly i see before and after transformations, people that train the same time i do and i feel ashamed.... I see great results.... And i have none... Honestly.... What I try to do is to learn from you, the more experienced, and trying to adjust my training.... Although i train for 2 years i was doing everything wrong....and with the tips i get from UA-cam fitness influencers i am correcting my training... And I feel i am finally getting a grasp of what it means to truly train... Its hard to find reliable information, but I believe I have found some good content and this channel seems one of them.... Most channels say that beginners should focus on upper/lower splits 4 times a week... But those splits take more time than i have to train.... So i would really like your videos on ppl splits since I find the best split for me.... Please keep up with the good information on the topic!!

Hi I am a woman, who wants sooooo sooooo sooo much to get consistent and disciplined with the gym. I want to for the following reasons: get an amazing body, manage major mental health struggles and staying clean from pills and develop discipline and consistency. But I just cannot seem to do it. I go to the gym and feel 10 times better but that doesnt seem to matter I just cant bring myself to return. I have tried every technique, even from that neuroscience guy on youtube about motivation and dopamine and ways to trick your brain etc etc. Im not working due to issues caused by above and ive no kids so I havent a single excuse.. I want sooooooo bad so bad, more than anything to overcome and beat this. Any advice???
BTW I wrote down my5 reasons!!!
