Question, do all oxfords grips have the same material. My 690 is viby as hell and would love a softer thicker grip to reduce vibes vs a sport firm grip which may translate those vibes a little more. Thanks in advance.

ATVs have a thumb throttle, so they do not have a throttle tube. Motorcycles have a 7/8" grip on the clutch side, and nearly a 1-inch grip on the throttle side, so the grip can fit over the throttle tube. ATVs have 7/8" grips on both sides.

Therefore it would be a good idea to convert them to regular throttle. A lot of people will disagree with me on this but I guess it's also a bit of personal opinion.

The previous owner put these on my Ninja 400. They work great and the 100 percent Mark actually is too hot for me.

Good morning, I'm thinking of buying some Oxford heated cuffs, but I'm not sure between the two models mentioned below. Can you please tell me the differences? Thank you

Wouldn't the wind chill still affect your hands?

Suuuuper late reply here but just throwing this in here... been riding in frigid temps many times with the Oxford Sport grips on numerous bikes, never used windshields and my hands were fine with some winter gloves and the settings on max or even less sometimes (you definitely feel them through the gloves). Yeah you still feel the wind, but the right gloves protect you and the grips keep your hands warm enough

Probably because you just rode your motorcycle and the battery is at full capacity which means maximum voltage output. As the battery drains a little by leaving the grips on or just leaving your motorcycle switched off for at least a few days the grips will measure the decrease and as soon as its built-in threshold is met (probably at around ~11-12V) the grips should automatically turn off. But since heated grips (or any electronics using the battery for that matter) require constant power, the drain on the battery will happen a lot faster of course.

I shut mine off when finished riding. No problem for the battery; didn't know of the low voltage cut off. Cool

They are useless. Control unit is not sealed adequately and this means water shorts out the board. Went through two control units in eight months before giving up. Oxford would not refund or replace the fault units. Stay away from them!

Extremely strange. I've had Oxford grips on my last 2 bikes. I've rode more than 70000 km with those bikes and I pressure wash all the time without any problems

Why !? .. Why the Nature is so obsessed with the men's beard and mustache and totally shamelessly refuses to care for men`s top head hair !? So unfair and doesn't make any sense . Nice video though .
