I was going to get the 43x then went with the 26 and just got a 12 round mag since it has a factory grip extension which is a perfect finger rest for my pinky. I feel like since the 26 is thicker I have a bit better recoil control as well.
15rds is a major bonus too. I would choose the 26 if I needed conceal-ability (or if I had to stick to 10rds, which would never happen)... but I think I would choose the 43x/48 over the G19 if I wanted or needed the capacity.

Yeah but since it has a grip as long as a 19 for a slimmer guy like me it prints alot less and I'm in Texas where it's hot ASF in the summer and I'm stuck wearing shorts and a somewhat thin Tshirt the 43x isn't practical for me I can have 12 rds with a plus 2 baseplate with the 26 and have room for a full draw and still not print as much but that is my opinion

26 is also nice because it accepts all the double stack higher capacity Glock mags and aftermarket parts and holster are much easier to come by for the 26 in general though the aftermarket has gown considerably for the 43 in recent years.
Since Washington went communist, I lost my yearning for a Glock 26. A full size 10-round magazine is still just 10-rounds. I took the thinner option and glad I did. Whoever made it must've been having a great day, because it has a smooth trigger I've never felt on a Glock before or since.
I carry a 26 with 19 mags and the grip extension. That gun is still too thick and heavy, though. So I also carry a Hellcat with the 13 round mags mostly.

I used to carry a 26, i just cant stand those short little grips. I wear 2xl gloves and my fingers hang off subcompacts something fierce. 43x MOS allows me to get a full grip, its very comfortable and allows me to run my 407k. Was between the 365x and the 43x and im very happy i went with the 43x. Shoot it just as good as my 19.
Lol same. I could never be accurate with the 43x and that’s why I went and bought a g26. Got an XL Pearce grip on it and it’s feels great. I do regret selling my 43x though because when I want to wear gym shorts, the g26 does feel a bit heavy. Definitely miss the slimness and lightness of the 43x.
@@GunsBlazingRanch Actually at times I’ve found the opposite. If the slide is too short the gun wants to tip away from your body. The solution is to lower holster ride height but that comes at the expense of the draw.

43x has too long a grip for only 10rds but the grip does feel perfect in hand. The 26 I can't really get down with cuz of the width and lack of grip. Sure you can add extended mag but it still doesn't feel the same. That Canik MC9 is gonna be the perfect mix of these two!

43x so much better when it comes to concealeabity but at the same time can’t knock the 26 for its absolute perfections. No Glock is bad in my eyes just depends on your comfortability and proper knowledge of your firearms personally I would go 43x over 26 . But I also carry a 19 gen5 as my EDC😅 ((quite a bit bigger than both firearms used as example)
I bought my Hellcat Pro because I loved the way the 43x felt in my hand, and they feel fairly similar in width. I think they are about the same, but the hellcat has better texture/ stippling. I love these 1-1.5” thick pistols. They just feel great in the hands.
43X is way better than the 26 imo. Better ergos, same mag size oem & aftermarket (the glock 48 is extremely popular), and it’s also thinner so more concealable.
That’s doesn’t make sense to me though you basically said they do everything the same except the 43x has a thinner slide. Both 10 round OEM and same thickness of grip. Plus with the 43x you get the option to replace the oem mags.
I went with the 43x mos and the PSA Dagger 15 round mags. Runs flawlessly. The mag does protrude a tiny bit but it’s worth the extra 5 rounds. If u go with any aftermarket mags in order to retain the factory mag release you will need to stick with polymer mags or polymer front lined mags. Steel mags will require a mag release swap.
A 43X mos with light rail and optics plate plus it was a way better grip without the finger grooves + entire hand fits on it, then Shield Arms 15+1 mags….. your crazy !

26 was my first piece ever. Picked up the 43x about a year ago. I shoot so much better with the 26 but the 43x is so much more comfortable to carry. Once I can shoot better with the 43x, I may trade the 26 for something else.

Glocks are probably your best bet for first time carriers, but it really depends on which brand of firearm you’re looking for and what its intended purpose. Stock comparison on glocks will always be weird. Unless your a women or a guy with small hands. The g26 frame is too short for most guys. g26 needs an extended baseplates and most people are running shield mags or psa for the G43x. Don’t know anyone that carries G26 with no extended mag or baseplate. 10 rounds is for Cali only
G26 with flush/15rd mags no sleeves all day over 43 all that money 😭best thing G26 is the slight frame overlays the slide for grip works great on smaller guns especially if you gotta swap mags to the hot stuff 💨🚪🚗🐗
I had the Kahr cw9 way before any of these slim micros were available. The kahr was probably ahead of its time with being a slim micro. It didn't really print, but Glock 26 is best for me.

Doesn't the added height of the red dot kinda defeat the purpose? Regardless, the 26 will accept g17/18/19 mags, and thats the thing that makes it better imo. I still prefer the 19 though. I should pick up a 26.
43x is considerably lighter in hand and on waist … not talking numbers I just know when I hold and carry em the 43 is much much lighter feels like I’m not even carrying compared to the 26

15 is the 43x/48 with a shield magazine, and they work flawless
Pro-mag now makes a flush fit 15 that you don’t have to change the mag release for, and it’s much more reliable.

26 is the king of versatility, you can go from 10 rounds flush fit to 33 oem mag with a +20 extension.

I use a 26 with a plus 2, barely adds length and makes it 12, having owned a 48 id still take the 26 because the grip is thicker, cant use a tiny grip

shield arms mags are too risky. stick to oem if you wanna depend your life on your gun. i had jams with them before.

43x can hold 15 rounds with shield arms mag . It's illegal but if shit hit the fan then it's a better decision in my opinion

I got the 48mos, tried those 15 round mags, it was cool but ultimately i still shoot the 26 better consistently so I’m back to my beloved 26
