    Made this today. I would have liked more salt, pepper, and just flavor in general, but it was really nice finally having a chuck roast come out tender and with minimal ingredients. Love this

      Yes, you must definitely season pot roast generously if you want to emphasis the flavor ❣️

    Hi Karen, I'm a real newbie not only to the instant pot but to cooking. Never cooked before. I have viewed your UA-cam recipes and process for using the instant pot or as it is generally called here in Cape Town, South Africa. Yesterday I made a Pork Roast with Potatoes following your directions as to timing extra. We are at sea level, but even so, it came out Amazing, my wife enjoyed it. Thank you enjoy watching your channel.

      First cookbook I ever bought that every recipe is doable and looks so yummy nothing in it I wouldn't want to make myself

    Wow!! That looks scrumptious!! Oh my goodness. I love french onion stuff... but am a bit of a foodie snob and mostly avoid "packaged" food (like lipton onion soup mix). I was SO GLAD to see you create this from scratch without ... malto dextrin and sodium whoknowswhat haha. Thanks for that! I am a newbie (got my machine 6 days ago) your channel is good. easy to watch... Best Success!! (OOhhhhhh... an actual cookbook... nice!)

    If I want to cook 1lb of roast, do I also halve the cooking time or should I leave it to one hour? And halve the rest of the ingredients too? Thank you for your amazing recipes every week!

      I'd keep the same cooking time and I would halve the rest of the ingredients.

    I have a London broil in my fridge, do you think this recipe would work with that? Would the time be different because it’s not as thick, but it’s a tougher cut of meat so maybe the time would stay the same🤷🏻‍♀️

    Hi Karen, i would like to see some IP 3 quarts recipes of yours, if possible. We just got our IP Duo Nova 3 Quarts last week, i made a small ham for Easter and it was sooo good but i don't have anymore ideas so if you can give us some hint, this would be greatly appreciated. For the recipe on the video, can we omit the onions and replace for something else ? thanks for sharing !

      @@bonniemccain5158 I got my first Instant Pot as a gift and I waited 6 months before using it. I'm so glad I took the plunge because I use it every day sometimes twice per day. Especially in the hot summer months when I don't want to turn on my oven. You'll do great!

    Pot roast is it very fatty type of meat and I refuse to eat it
