- Doug Geivett claimed recently that Daniel Kolenda from CFAN is in the "NAR" camp. In this brief interview I invite Daniel to clarify his position on issues related to the so-called New Apostolic Reformation.

I'm Rod Saunders, founder of Jew and Greek. I’m a musician, web developer, and a student of philosophy and economics. I recently published my first book on Amazon entitled Defending the Faith: Word of Faith Apologetics. It’s a response to the numerous charges against and misrepresentations of the Word of Faith movement and theology. I also have a CD of original music on CD Baby entitled Gates of Pearl. “Jew and Greek” is a good name because the two civilizations that influenced Western civilization the most were those of the Judeo-Christian and Greek worlds. From the Jews we received our values and a monotheistic theology, and from the Greeks we got philosophy which brought us science, sports, the arts, democracy, and economics. As a result I discuss all of the above in this blog and in my videos.

It's interesting how quickly people will believe the worst about a fellow brother or sister in Christ. It's also like the spiritual equivalent of flat Earthers and other conspiracy theories. 🧐🤦♂️

Absolutely agree with Daniel Kolenda. He has ministered side by side over the years with Evangelist Reinhard Bonkke and has been a solid preacher of the Gospel himself. It's amazing how many people have in the name of discernment falsely accused Him of being a part of something that He has never been associated with. Am thankful though for Pastor Kolenda for taking a continuationist stand against pushback that He has gotten. The Lord Jesus is certainly a healer, Fills people with His Spirit and empowers people with Gifts of the Spirit to go out and be bold witnesses for Him. The Gifts have not ceased and will not until Jesus. We need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit

@@JoshuaSamuel89 I totally agree! Sean Christie is not someone who persuades me. He seems to think that his rejection of others is God's rejection of them.
Sean needs to repent and be honest about his beliefs….
They can say whatever they want,Daniel has a calling on his life that's far greater than ridiculous people who do nothing to promote the kingdom of God to bring salvation to the lost.
How lacking are those who attempt to tear down the Body of Christ?

Daniel seems like a very level headed guy, not at all NAR material. The problem with NAR is not whether or not apostles exist (but might be worth a separate discussion), but because they run it like a cult. I recommend looking up Steve Hassan's BITE model of authoritarian control. Personally I think we've had apostles since the age of Christ and we call them "missionaries" and "church planters" now.

@@markridlen4380 you seem to have taken Doug and Holly's definition as uncritically true. The problem with "NAR" is that it's treated as some grand conspiracy and people opposed to this alleged conspiracy just toss people's names into the "NAR" camp.

For the record, I believe brother Daniel Kalinda is very apostolic in his work and function, and that’s a great thing. But this whole north thing is way out of hand. We may not all believe alike concerning apostles and prophets, but those things are secondary issues anyway. I don’t believe that apostles and prophets have authority. Overall evangelist, pastors and teachers, but I do certainly believe that they both carry authority in different ways. I believe apostles, have a authority over those that they oversee, and the churches that they establish/have relationship with, and I believe that prophets have authority, in a potent way when they speak what God is speaking, and things change in the round of the spirit in many ways. This is just a theory, but I believe that both apostles and profits are used in the gift of faith in prayer to speak things out that are in need of being birthed and built in the realm of the spirit in order to see the manifest in the natural. Even though Paul had established the Galatians in kingdom truth, he had to prevail again in birth until Christ was formed in them. Good stuff though.
