@@ryderwashington4199 let’s not glorify some of the shittiest writing on the show. This whole scene only works if Del’s bodyguard is asleep. Darlene isn’t scary, she’s psychotic. They are unnerving in their own way, but she should have been put down. Could have been an interesting conflict between Jacob and Del.
@@DarkJak337 You're right, it wasn't very realistic for a man, no matter the power, to disrespect someone in their home. No smart person, drug lord or not, would do that in someone else's home.
Hah. And you thought Del was a ruthless psychopath? You hadn't met Darlene.
Omar and Javi : sup dudes
First time you saw this it was almost impossible to internalize the headless heap of crap in the corner had just recently been the coldest, most intimidating force imaginable.
Lol that bitch was ruthless and wasn't tolerating anything she deemed disrespectful 😁
Freakin miss this show..my eyes were glued to the screen with every episode..
So after witnessing someone’s face blown off frozen custard Is the meal of choice ? Got it
Fax
@Phillip Hickman Beat me to it.
@Phillip Hickman I don't think he had it after seeing someone head blown the fuck off
With strawberry sauce and chunks.
@@The_Original_forresttrump On the engineering disaster podcast "Well There's Your Problem", the go-to phrase is "chunky marinara".
The scene made no sense. Not only does Del Rio's bodyguard not notice Darlene holding/pointing a shotgun, but he doesn't even react after Del Rio is shot.
In the beginning of this scene (which was cut out), they stripped the guard of his guns. He sat unarmed for the whole meeting.
Some comments here said that it was Del who being rude to the host and that was what got him killed. But it was Darlene who being racist in the first place. I remember before this scene, Darlene hinted that her dog was sensitive to "different smell" which I believe she was implying the mexican odor.
Ya she was it was definitely a bias tone from her in the beginning of the scene even when they first entered she immediately grabbed the shot gun cocked and ready to shoot at any given moment she definitely was a racist maniac.
Exactly! She told Ash to follow Del and his bodyguard outside when Del had to make a call, to “make sure they don’t touch anything.” She was a fucking racist bitch and it amazes me people just close their eyes at that.
Uuuuhm, as a god owner i find what you said hilariously stupid lol. Dogs smell, they see the world through smell. If the dog is trained to protect the household and is inherently agressive, it will be “sensitive” to ANY foreign “smell” other than that of the owners
@@VDViktor I don't know what point you're trying to make. My whole comment is not even about the dog. But ok.
You own gods? Damn bro your something else. I own a dog and yes they react to foriegn smells.
Ridiculously incompetent bodyguard lol
The moment she asked what he said and reached for a shotgun you’d think he’d be a tad alert of the situation
Chilling how the vibe was like, relax, we do this every Tuesday. 😄😄😄
Gut punch scene! 💯💯💯
What a scene. Jacob is beyond perfect in it. The frozen Custer recommendation is 👌🏻
Lisa Emery as Darlene is brilliant. She makes me laugh more than any other character lol. Absolutely savage.
Darlene: He was disrespectful
Jacob: Mm hmm
I love the way Darlene sways after shooting the gun.
I'm sorry what was that
@@miguelpatrick79 now I'm self conscious =(
Everyone talks about Del being killed off too soon but they did the same to my boy Jacob.
"Go get some frozen custard"
Jesus whomever did the scouting/writing for this film hit the bullseye. Andy's is one of the most popular dessert choices in the lakes.
He was making a joke about the fact Marty is from chicago
"Maybe get yourself a frozen custard" Yeah okay Jacob. Marty will go get a frozen custard as he panics over the cartel coming to butcher him and his family lol.
"you go home, relax, maybe gitcha-self a frozen custard" - Jacob 😂
“I won’t abide that talk you know that”
This show messes with my mind so much, him getting shot was one thing, seeing a powerful cartel boss's head split in half while he lay lifeless on the floor is another, he had so much power over what goes, then he was caught off guard, most realistic gore in any show ever
Del: I’m the baddest mofo in the ozarks
Darleen: hold my beer
And these buckshots 😁
“The man was a guest.”
he was disrespectful according to Darlene 😂
Darlene and that shotgun wasted a lot of people
What a great series this was. This series introduced me to the term binge watching
The greatest overlooked part to this scene was the editing. Great, great editing
Lol “the man was a guest” oh how I love that man.
He was disrespectful
and this was the precise moment he turned into heisenberg!
"Go home, relax, maybe get yourself a frozen custard..." Brilliant!
Always loved how polite Jacob was. "Ash, get us some towels PLEASE"...
That was to clean up the brain matter on the wall😂
the way he says "dammit darlene!" hahaha
Let's give credit to the director of this episode: Jason Bateman!
Let's not. It's a stupid creative choice. Del was a well liked character, and there's no reason for him to die here. Even if they'd wanted to get rid of him, they could have been a little more creative than 'psycho hillbilly kills Del.'
@@DarkJak337 that's the writer's idea, not Bateman's.
@@BatmanHQYT Bateman wrote or co-wrote this episode, I believe. But I might be wrong. Either way, killing Del so early was a mistake.
@@DarkJak337 No he didn't. He's just a director and EP. Chris Mundy is the showrunner and head writer.
@@DarkJak337 Write him better ill fuckin wait
I have two problems with this scene. 1) how didn’t his bodyguard see her with the gun on her hand 2) Marty glanced back, how didn’t he see her
And why’d the body guard took too long to react lmaoo Jacob took his sweet time pulling out his gun
Training video for new body guards called how not to do your job.
Lol
First time seeing this shit I was shocked at how Del went out like c’mon Bruh 🤦🏿♂️
Same I couldn’t believe it
Marty is Right. This Clip took me over a dozen times to figure out what's going on and Marty's hyper reaction.
This would also be an issue with nations and groups as well.
When someone gets murdered and his body goes missing, there's going to be a big piece of missing trail that the missing side to going to find out. It won't be good for the other side once they find out what went down.
She seem to have no care in the world after brutally blowing him away like that
@@miguelpatrick79 then she will find out the consequences one day....
Ya she's trigger happy and insane
But also its a fair point that you could get away with it too. People in the cartel would disappear all the time, It's always possible another cartel got him on the way home....
@@manuelwowchow1476 she found out the consequences now lmao
"I might've overreacted." 🤣🤣🤣
Two people didn't get themselves a frozen custard.
I won't abide by that talk
they might have overreacted
Watching this after S4 Part 1 ending brings back memories… Del was a better character then Javi imo.. and Darlene got what she deserved
Usually you put a spoiler tag or something
@@spooditt6968 🤣🤣
poor wyatt though.. he shouldve just left with ruth.
@@mg-zh3vw hell no, wyatt deserved it. He was warned a million times by Ruth to leave darlene and move elsewhere, she even offered to go with him. They were also warned by Marty. He didn’t listen

“I mighta overreacted.” Probably Darlene’s quote next to her senior picture in the yearbook.
The man was a guest
"Gawddammit Darlene"😂
I can’t believe they killed Del instantly but kept Darlene around for 4 seasons

"man was a guest!" I am pretty sure that blowing a guy's head off is, yes, a fairly flagrant breach of etiquette.
As soon as I saw the dash (-) in the subtitles, I knew he was about to get cut off and get shot
Such a great fkn show. Every clip i watch on here just makes me wanna switch over to netflix and just watch the rest of the episode, lol
Came here to say, the death(s) at the end of the latest season were just as shocking and even more disturbing. The writing in this show is ridiculous.
This is one of those moments where you just knew you were dealing with a show that gave no F’s
