Watching characters desperately talk their way out of being killed is when the show is at it's best, its a shame the next season totally undoes any of the geniusness this season built
She works for the cartel and she opens her house door without looking to see who it is first or the fact that he has a big ass shotgun? I love her character but damn she got caught lacking by my boy Jonah, a kid.
He knows how the system works. He knew if he killed her, his life would be over. But he just wants her dead so bad. Thankfully, Navarro had him covered...
If her daughter chooses not to be in denial she would put the pieces together considering Ben told her her mom was in the cartel. Of course to her, it seemed like a bipolar delusion at the time, but now….
I think it's funny that people in movies or TV always point a shotgun at someone without a shell in the chamber and only actually load it for emphasis, if the person says something dumb, or the person refuses them whatever they're demanding.
*Potential Spoiler* Good that he didnt pull the trigger, but i was really happy when navarro ordered nelson to kill her at the end. I just didnt like this character.
Didn't Helen tell Nelson (after he killed Marty and Wendy's therapist and threw her car into the lake) though that if things went sideways, to kill her?
I hope Jonah ends up killing his mom itd be an insane plot turn. They have so much potential for Jonah he can launder money he’s proficient with firearms he’s desensitization to violence makes him an overall badass and he isn’t at all whiny like most boys his age. I want him to actually go on an interesting arc come S4... I don’t see him having anything to do with the Snells, Ruth, and Wyatt but if he gets involved with the cartel or maybe KC Mob (I know that’s a stretch) it’d be fucking dope. He shouldn’t stay as Marty and Wendy’s boy anymore because he isn’t to be fair if anything he’s more mature than Charlotte and way more resourceful too, if anything in S3 he proved himself to be a man
Yessss bring on the blood. 🩸 The kid didn’t even shoot her and knew she was lying She’s a lawyer remember she gets paid to move words around Jonah got fooled
Season 1 and 2 aren't that amazing though. They were solid but it really came into its own in season 3 and I think season 4 has done a pretty decent job of keeping the dread.
Contrary to popular belief, this is normal. Not the crazy crime part, the walking down the street part. This isn't a ghetto in a dem run city and state, you see. Open carry is a right we have when the politicians respect the constitution and the oath they swore to uphold it. People being complete ninnyfied by public schools and feminism ain't normal, you dig? It's sick and disgusting. The pathetic feelings of politicians and media people, aren't my way of life bro. You FA, you FO real quick round these parts, we only call the cops to clean you up of the ground. Keeps the jails from sucking up tax money. Contrary to popular belief, the demographic in the u.s. committing 50 to 61 percent of the vio lent crime each year, ain't white folks. So you can stick your minority fragility where the sun only shines if you're a fruit cake on a beach.
Dude, first it's a goddamn show, second , I've been to the Ozarks, I'm from Arkansas, and there's nothing strange about a kid walking with a shotgun. It's wilderness for miles every direction a lot of places. There's bears, coyotes, red wolves mountain lions, and people hunt. You only think it's crazy, Because you're one of those dumb as shit, cops be killing black people, they hunting us, idiots. Besides, as involved as the cartels are in this show, think maybe, just maybe, cops and a lot of townspeople are on the payroll.
The one time we've seen Helen totally rattled; no threats, bribes, legalese or negotiations can help with a murderously angry kid.
Watching characters desperately talk their way out of being killed is when the show is at it's best, its a shame the next season totally undoes any of the geniusness this season built
She still talked her way out.
Jonah went all pumped up kicks on her LMFAO he said "THAT'S IT!!"

Shes arrogant
The door was glass lol she saw who it was, but it looked like Jonah was hiding the gun behind his back
He was hiding the gun
He hid the gun in-between the front double doors vertically. She opened it and he pulled it up on her.
She could clearly see it was Jonah through the massive glass windows 😂 he also hid the shotgun so it couldn’t be seen. Come on have some sense
That very slight nod gesture at 0:53 was the shit, very good acting, so underrated this show is
Yes! I agree!
He knows how the system works. He knew if he killed her, his life would be over. But he just wants her dead so bad.
Thankfully, Navarro had him covered...
I lose my shit every time I see that part.
She said he'd ruin his life, he said Aight Bet.
You know you messed up when u got a kid aiming a gun at you with no remorse
I love how he's willing to shoot a woman but cussing is out of the question LMFAO
If Jonah had killed her at least her daughter would know what happened to her
If her daughter chooses not to be in denial she would put the pieces together considering Ben told her her mom was in the cartel. Of course to her, it seemed like a bipolar delusion at the time, but now….
I'm telling you in a couple seasons Jonah is gonna be the new nelson because it seems like they have that same completely desensitized mindset
The next season is the final season so you know

It adds dramatic flair
As a person experienced in such things, I agree.
It drives me crazy. They do it with pistols too, but it's usually just going from double action to single action.
It interesting to see the doors have windows on them, and Helen didn't just see Jonah holding a shotgun.
"your parents are about to get on a plane with me"... knowing they were going to be killed when they got there LOL.
