Yo man, on the bottom right of your front bumper there's a plastic wall that can be removed/ripped out under your headlight. After this you can remove the factory plastic "jug" located directly below your air filter. Then I just bought some "4in dust collector hose" I recommend 3" and an attachment you can bolt to the lower aluminum part of the bumper..like an air catch that is behind the bottom slots of your front bumper. Then run the hose to the right and up directly below your air filter. After I did this it greatly improved throttle response and it feels like my torque increased. Hope it helps! I can make a short vid showing if you want. Also, I was going to make a heat shield but it's a super awkward space, so definitely make a video on it...maybe even throw out some measurements 😉
Nice job. Did the exact same way I did over the winter. Didnt have to drop the subframe or nothing. Unfortunately mine did rub the steering shaft but a hammer took care of that. Nice job

Did the test with header wrap just like the heat deflection tape and the overall temp was 92 after the pulls I’m guessing since it was trapped in it stayed more constant and didn’t wanna go up I even did a few more pulls after it never went up and it was a hott ass day. Wrapping the intake with header wrap is a bad idea. Header wrap is meant to keep heat in the header for better scavenging so using it on the intake it will get hot from the exhaust and simply hold heat. I use dei be cool heat reflective wrap. Its meant to reflect heat away. I have been using it on all my vehicles and it makes a difference. You can get it in gold or silver, I have wrapped my air intakes on my Evo x mr touring, my sti, and my tsx. I did a before and after and there was a noticeable difference in power and temp dropped. Heat soak is common on infiniti g35/350z so any type of temp reduction u can do makes a difference.
jason rodriguez Sorry the lower area not the area I did. But we ended up just straightening the wheels then re installed accordingly to where the steering wheel was straight when we tightened it back down so mark isn’t required it just helps.

Very good video thanks
Save yourself the headache with refilling the coolant and purging/burping the system by getting a Lisle Spill-Free Funnel.
How the heck did you remove the water pipe🤦♂️😂 I removed everything and the bolt but still can’t get it to come out
hey brother , what headlights do you have?
what brand of header are these. Have they held up no cracks?
freeyourmind88 Megan racing
They tend to have clearance issues with the steering rack. If that’s the case you’ll have to hammer the header in. Won’t hinder the performance.
what headers are these? and how much more hp does it make?
Passenger side coolant pipe is so hard to take out
What brand of headers are those?
Rawrster I believe they were Megan racing
Does the g35 header fit g37!?
I have a 04 auto coupe am I able to run a tune?
Yup its on the 03
can you list all the tools needed please
Ay what headers are these please let me know
Do you have a link to the headers
I do not but they are cheap ones from eBay.
What kind of headers did you use
I want to install my longtube headers but this looks like so much and scared to mess with my coolant lol
1-10 how difficult do you rate the job?
Nice. My first g35 has come. Maybe you can talk me through it? Love the sound.
Link to your air intake ?
What Spot does the steering rack needs to be marked?
jason rodriguez Sorry the lower area not the area I did. But we ended up just straightening the wheels then re installed accordingly to where the steering wheel was straight when we tightened it back down so mark isn’t required it just helps.
What headers are those?
I can’t seem to get my steering colum off anything you guys did or any help anyone can give me ASAP
Lmfao you asked for help ASAP and it’s been a year and nobody helped you lmao. Did you fix it?
