    Wonderful basic essential “shirsasan foundation” body parts strengthening exercises!
    However I prefer the wall behind the back (specially for beginners) about a foot away. This way when the beginner yogis lose their balance they have the wall to take support and not crash fully backwards hurting their neck and upper back (Whip lash)!
    Other technique to avoid injuries. Once you have mastered the wall the real challenge is doing it in free open space. My yoga guru would actually stand behind us about a foot away and prevent any fall by supporting the legs. It takes a few days (some times weeks of daily practice with a partner supporting/preventing a crash to gain 100% confidence). Neck/whiplash injury can last for years.
    Another way of getting into the pose: get down into the foundation pose with your legs still on the ground. Then walk slowly towards your head - forming a wide “V” shape first - which obviously contracts into a sharper “V”At some point your foundation automatically helps you to lift the legs up - very easily. First practice with legs folded and vertical. Then a few tries later extend both legs up in the air.

    shivam my problem is that my crown of the head starts paining a lot when i start practicing. Is it normal? will i get used to it in some days? or do i have to put weight on my shoulders more rather than head.

      Yes ;you not put weight on your head ,you will put on your 80% weight on your elbow ,forearms and shoulder Also first increase your hand strength not directly go for asana👍👍; and never loose hop you can do it💪💪😊

      Headstand karne se pet mein dard aur loose motion hone ka ek karan ho sakta hai vayu (gas) ka badhna. Jab aap headstand karte hain, to aapke pet mein vayu upar ki or chali jati hai, aur yeh aapko pet mein dard ka anubhav karwa sakti hai. Iske alawa, kuch logon ko headstand karne se chakkar aana, motion ya acidity ki samasya bhi ho sakti hai.
      Isse bachne ke liye, aap kuch cheezen dhyan mein rakh sakte hain:
      1. Pranayama: Aasan karne se pahle aur baad mein pranayama (pran shuddhi) karein. Isse aapke pet mein vayu ka prabandh ho sakta hai.
      2. Aahar: Aasan karne se pahle kuch khane-pine ki achi aadatein banayein. Headstand se pahle kuch light khana pina behtar ho sakta hai.
      3. Vyaktigat Anubhav: Agar aapko headstand karne par pet mein dard ya anya samasya hoti hai, to us samay yoga instructor se salah lein aur apne sharir ke signals ko sunen.
      4. Hydration: Pani ki sahi matra mein piyein aur dehydration se bachne ke liye dhyan rakhein.
      5. Savdhanata: Headstand ya kisi bhi aasan ko karne se pahle, aapka sharir tayyar hona chahiye. Agar koi bhi samasya ho to aap turant aasan chhod dein.
      Yoga aapke sharir aur man dono ke liye labhdayak ho sakta hai, lekin ise sahi tarike se aur savdhanata ke sath karna mahatvapurnn hai. Agar aapko lagta hai ki headstand se samasya ho rahi hai, to ek yoga instructor ki madad lena bhi ek achha vichar ho sakta hai.
