Practice makes a man perfect. Started practising Shirshasan 3 months ago; today I can hold the pose for 2 minutes without any wall support. So keep practising yoga. It works magically :)
@Mariana Rostam SK06c There’re certain preparatory poses; you need to strengthen your core. I’ve been doing yoga for 2 years now..mainly sun salutations, wheel pose, downward dog pose, cat-cow stretch. All these exercises will make you flexible. Also, do crunches.
Finally I am seeing a comment which is very realistic. I have been trying from the last 3 weeks and definitely can see that I have been able to gradually shift my weight from legs to elbows. Will still take some time to get there

I am able to do it and it's been 1 week of trying it and now i can do a handstand. Just came here to say Thank you so much. It has been 9 days I m doing all these poses n now I'm trying to do the aasan without support n these steps really works now I m trying to do this without support n my legs are going upside easily than previous I think for doing this properly we need so much practice
I was trying to do head stand for a long time but wasn't able . When 1 started yours I was able to do it on the 1st day . I recommend everyone to do it .

It will be easier to do if your mind is distracted. If you keep thinking that you will fall then you won't be able to do it. Hence try listening to music while doing this so that you don't get scared. ~Personal experience ~

I used to do this in gymnastic class with the foam support. And used to do half stand without help. Gymnastic class stopped, trying to do at home.
