      For sure, thanks for sharing. You seem to have quite a bit of depth of field, at which aperture was these clips shot with? And the focus seemed to hold pretty well between zooming. Was that because of a small aperture or did you use a par focal lens? Thanks!

    Great vid From peter!
    What Fps are shooting, I find when I shoot at 60 and try to play it back at regular speed in 24 timeline the frame loss looks so crappy compared to regular 24fps footy.. When I play 6 fps on a 30 timeline it looks clean, just not cinamatic!
    What am I missing..!?

      @@BeyondTheGame_E technically (59.9 and 23.9 im working with) Ive tried dropping it in the 23.9 time line vs changing the clip attributes to 23.9 and then speeding it up 250% with optical flow

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  3 роки тому

      I think you’re doing the right things. Although maybe frame sampling could look better than optical flow in your case. Personally I always edit in 25fps so I’ve never experienced this.

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  3 роки тому

      Also I would suggest duplicating your clips. Have one version untouched and one version modified to 23.9fps. That might be better than playing it in fast forward.

  • @jeremieclimaco9946
    @jeremieclimaco9946 5 місяців тому

    What I don’t understand is the direction of the whip, do we need to always whip same direction all the time for our next clips to follow the same flow? Because like it showed if I whip left to right and my next clip with speed ramp is right to left doesn’t that break the flow ?

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  5 місяців тому +1

      Yes and no... Ideally, both whips go in the same direction which makes the transition very seamless. But if it's not the case, the transition can still look very cool. Especially since both clips will most likely have different perspectives. So, a change of direction won't look as weird as you may think.

    7:59 When you do time remapping, how do you get the audio to line up with the alternate speed of the video? Because the slomo ball in the air made the audio cut off really bad.

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  Рік тому +1

      The audio at normal speed will always be shorter than the slow motion video so personally I just line up the audio of the basketball going through the hoop with the moment it happens in the video.

    • @drakehanson7373
      @drakehanson7373 Рік тому

      @@BeyondTheGame_E but then there’s a gap at the beginning. What I’m saying is how do you fill the gap? Just make the audio ease in?

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  Рік тому +1

      @@drakehanson7373 Yes that's one way to do it. Also, most of the time the start of your action in is not necessarily the start of the original clip itself. Which means that you can trim your audio back and have a few extra seconds to play with. Or you can also trim the audio of the previous clip forward. If it's just atmosphere sounds, it doesn't really matter.

      It’s a good way to practice. Just download footage from UA-cam and let your creativity take over. But you’ll have to go through a lot of games to find all the shots that you want. That’s the price to pay for not filming your own content.
