Thank you. I have enjoyed watching you create this little piece. I'm trying to resist going upstairs and digging out rust coloured fabric and threads! I haven't got time to do this and the postcards, but enjoy watching and seeing what people do... This year I'm going to try and be more focused and not get distracted!... I have recently realised that ADHD becomes more of a challenge in retirement, without the structure of work!
I need to find a way to be more positive in hard times. That will be a goal to work on this year. I'm going to get started on this prompt and try to keep up because stitching is relaxing and takes my mind out of my troubles while I'm doing it! Happy New Year 🎉🧵🪡
One of my goals in 2025 is to learn to be more creative. Your video popped up in my feed and what you are doing is so amazing to me. I absolutely love the splash design and what you created from the pick of the pot. I'm excited to see next week!
What a great idea! I must confess, after you picked the prompts I thought "Ugh, what the heck, that's a really weird combo". But you made it into something remarkable. I love your imagination! This is going to be a really fun year! Thanks.
Happy New Year!!! This year has already started off not so great but I have to let it wash over me and hope it gets better. This little oasis each week is something I look forward to 😊❤
I've been making reusable grocery totes out of old jeans, for the past 6 weeks. Only got 4 done in time for Christmas gifts so I'm going to keep making them. I've been stitching on some. Your videos Rebecca will help me add more interesting stitching. Thanks! I'm going for "happy" in the new year. I've had 2 deaths in the past year and a half and just like you said, it didn't feel right to have a lot of fun. And I wouldn't have had fun having fun anyway😢. But it's time to be happy again, from enjoying walks to sewing to Bible studies with friends. 😊
Happy New Year, Rebecca! I hope that 2025 is gentler for you and your family❤️🙏 I love your Winging It plan for this year. I will enjoy watching each week😊
A lovely outcome. I'd be inclined to stick the 3 pick tabs opposite so they coordinate with the finished piece. Great idea to iron on the little pieces. TFS
@@featherstitchhouse if you can remove the first picks they could always go on the inside cover or, make more and put the next ones over the tops. Just a thought.
Many thanks for doing this again! I’m going to do a variation of it since I have zero felt here and will not buy any! Ha… I also will be starting a stitch sampler with a book from the library to learn these stitches and have that for the cover of this project..
Thank you Rebecca for your inspiring channel! I love stitching along with you and have learned so much from the Winging It 2024! I'm not very good with computers and have a question. When you say ' I'll link it in the description below'....I can't locate the information. Where do I look?
Above the name of the channel there's three little dogs with the word 'more' you click on that and more info pops up and then if there's another three dogs and the word you click on that, all info is there, I hope this helps you.
Hi Rebecca, lovely work as always. May I ask what pen you used to draw on your radiating lines? Is it a Pilot Frixion pen? If so, where did you find a pale (white?) colour ink one? I can only find, red, blue and black. Thanks 🙂
Stitch it whichever way feels natural. I do a lot of stitches 'backwards' - I was taught by my left-handed mum. I never know whether I am making stitches left-hand or right handed! 😂
Your presentation was such it came across as being very achievable. Many thanks

That's a great goal. We could all be better at that, I'm sure! Happy New year. 🎉

I had the same reaction! I'm glad it worked out. It's definitely going to work my creative muscles!
This is going to be such a fun challenge. I am watching you stitch with warm colors as I watch it snow out my window.
Snow here too! It's all been rained away now though. Cosy stitching always does the trick though. X
Happy New Year!!!
This year has already started off not so great but I have to let it wash over me and hope it gets better.
This little oasis each week is something I look forward to 😊❤
I hope things get better soon. I'm glad you see these videos as an oasis. Sewing always helps! X
Great idea Rebecca for this year. I hope to get started on this, from Dunedin New Zealand 😊
Wonderful! Glad you want to join in. X

Thank you so much 😊
Soooo looking forward to doing this.
That's great to hear. X
A rust coloured splash, an unusual shape, turned out good.
Thank you. Glad you like it. 😊
Great idea!
😊
Thank you this is a lovely idea and love this first one your colours are awesome.
Thanks so much 😊

Thank you! That's a great idea. For the picks. I might be too far down the track now. X

Sounds great! No need to buy felt - that is just what I am using. Use what you have. It will be wonderful. X
Oooh lovely, Rebecca! Can't wait to get started on this years project, and I look forward to seeing everyone's efforts 😊
Me too!! Don't forget to join the Facebook group! X
What a lovely activity for a cold and snowy Sunday afternoon, thank you and best wishes for 2025!🎉
Thank you! You too! Happy new year 🎉
Lovely

Loved it, thank you Rebecca.
You're so welcome! 😊
Güzel çalışmalarınızı severek takip ediyorum. Ellerinize emeğinize yüreğinize sağlık ❤❤❤❤😊
So kind. Thank you 😊
So fun!!!
😊
This is beautiful, so simple and a great reason for slowstitching. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤👍from Somerset
Thank you so much! 😊

I’m thinking I may add these prompts to existing projects that I’m working on
That's a great idea. Merging projects is so savvy! X

Dots not dogs, blasted word changed AI!!!
Yup. Just find the word 'more' and tap. X
Thank you. X

Hi. It's a pilot friction body with a white heat Erase refill that is designed for fabric. Just make sure you get the correct size. I think it's 11cm.
I’m excited to start stitching! When stitching the sheaf stitch, as a left-handed stitcher I should work from left to right. Correct?
Stitch it whichever way feels natural. I do a lot of stitches 'backwards' - I was taught by my left-handed mum. I never know whether I am making stitches left-hand or right handed! 😂
