I learn so much from you about the backing materials and other techniques. You make it so easy. I got a new sewing machine for Christmas that I can drop the feed dogs on; I can’t wait to try free motion stitching! Thanks for all of your instructions. Happy New Year!❤
Hi Julia - Happy 2025! I love those little circle flowers. Such a great idea for any project. Wishing you a year of creative ideas, joy, and happiness. Looking forward to all the fun things you come up with. Hugs 💝🧵🎉
I will try to do more modeling in the coming videos. I am a bit shy about it but know it is helpful. The sweatshirts that I use (Comfort Colors) run big. Especially the larger sizes. I usually do not size up unless you really want it roomy.
@@stitchesbyjulia Good to know. I like those sweatshirts because they aren't too bulky. Also. the circle flowers remind me of ranunculus which I grew in my cutting garden last year. They are my new favorite flower!
I’ve got a big shot and notice that when you feed through things like fabric. I’ve wondered if running some flattened aluminium can sheets (soda cans with Hugh top and bottom cut off) through will help sharpen.
I have heard this works to sharpen the blades. I have never tried it but I do have some dies that are getting dull. Placing a piece of card stock on the top of your sandwich really helps also. Thanks so much for commenting!

Love it! The fabric looks really thin. I don’t think I’ve seen fabric that thin made in a top.
It looks like burnout.
Yes, it's a very lightweight knit.
Love the circle flowers 💐
