Also, it’s so refreshing to see a curly girl who wears her hair with a variety of textures even while embracing her curls! As a curly girl who loves variety, I hate how online there seems to be a dichotomy between “embrace your curls and only wear your hair curly!” and just constantly styling away your natural texture.

I’m so tempted by the Kristen Ess curly line because I love what the fragrance free line does to my hair, but I just can’t stand the scent! Does it linger a lot, or...?

I have a few wavy styling videos but not an updated one with my bangs!
What is mousse supposed to do? I've always been confused about that. Like leave-ins are for more moisture, and gels for hold. But what does mousse do? I used to use the mousse from devacurl (before the scandal) and felt like it did nothing.
i use them in scalp for volume. i have 3b 3C curly hair and sometimes the top is a little flat and not as curly. so mousse can help. apply to wet or damp hair to prevent frizz

A mousse does the same thing a gel does: provide hold. It just does it with a lighter formula that is less likely to weigh your hair down.
