My hair is easy to mold like this too. it's fun to experiment with different drying techniques because my hair will take the shape of how it's dried very literally

i love this technique, I had already seen it in your previous video so i tried it and it worked really well for me, having my hair curly takes a lot of length away so this was nice for a change, thank you!

Hii, I love your videos they have been super helpful for managing my curls! I know you referenced a video where you explain your braiding technique, I was wondering which video it is? I’m a bit braid challenged so I would love a slow explanation of this in one of your future videos :)

I like the waves I get from this or just a normal braid but how do I manage the frizz? Lol my hair ends up frizzing at the end and as the day goes on I just end up with a halo of frizz.

ahh I wish mine turned out like this! I'm going to try your updated version but last time the wavy tutorial did stretch my curls a ton and gave me mermaid type waves, just not as loose as yours! your color is beautifullllll

Hey Dana I have a question for you, im a guy growing long hair and I have mix between I think 3a and 2c curls? I might even have some 3b. Anyway im not a fan of curly hair on men or at least for myself and I was wondering what curl type you have because I want a beach wave tousled hair but I think my hair may be much thicker then yours at least from what I can see. Also my hair is only chin length wich is not weighing it down. Ughh I need like at least 6 more inches. Any advice on products to weigh it down? I'd post a pic if I could maybe you can tell me my curl type because I have no idea.

mine has a mood of its own, some strands are soft and wavy while some are super frizzy and dry.

Dana, can you do a video on how to stretch curls to waves if you need to use a diffuser?? Sometimes I don't have hours to wait around with wet locks to dry naturally 😩

If you're into DIY haircuts, look up "bevelling". It's a good way to get layers like hers. (I'm not a hair dresser, just speaking from my DIY experience. 😁 )

I made braids, but always on heavily wet hair. Even 10 hours of sleep is not enough to dry up. I'll try with drier. Thanks for the video, shows that details are important :) I wonder how it will come out on my semi-long, rare hair.
    Have a nice day :)

I love you so don’t take this personally but your hair definitely lost a lot of its health from the bleach. I know you said in your previous videos that you didn’t see a difference in it it but it definitely looks so different. You are beautiful no matter what I’ve always loved watching you. But I had to comment on it.

Dana Gagliotti must just be the bleach makes it look different. I hope you didn’t find my comment offensive at all. I love your hair and have been growing out all my color because I loved your natural hair color. Made me love mine because it’s very similar.

I think it's a preference thing. Some people like looser curls better. Her curls were tighter before when it's 'healthier'. But her curls now looks effortless, kinda stretched because of the coloring and her different routine now. I actually prefer the latter ☺️ and I'm trying to achieve that now, unfortunately my hair likes to form ringlets, no matter what I do.
