A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ UA-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of UA-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on UA-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This UA-cam channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

Love Supertramp. “The Logical Song,” “Breakfast in America,” “Goodbye Stranger,” “Give a little bit”
YES. The Logical Song,
NAILED IT, BEN
Also school
Crime of the century
Their songs "Logical Song", "Dreamer", "Bloody well right" are all worth your time. They were all study background music for me when I was younger now they are a reminder. Still good stuff.
Bloody Well Right is the one for me, but Logical Song and Dreamer are classics too!
I listened to it while skipping school (little rebel me) xD
Supertramp: The Logical Song!!!
It’s the best!
That's my fave non hard rock rock song. Damn straight. This one Epic too!!!
Emerson Lake and Palmer from the Beginning
Goodbye Stranger(particularly that last minute outro🤯)
The logical song has some really great lyrics.
So does "School"
This song is from “Breakfast In America”. Every song on this album is excellent! I’m a Supertramp fan and love all their albums and you can’t go wrong with any song from them!
I'm nearly 62, and have loved Supertramp since 1974. I get genuine pleasure from seeing reactions from younger people, like yourself, which are no different to ours in the 1970s. The explanation is that you have a good ear for good music. It's as simple as that. Thanks.
Then your wife starts to think you are part of the furniture, lol my favorite line in the song.
Always made me think his marriage was so bad he had to take the long way home to get to his house.
Love “ Goodbye Stranger”
Goodbye Stranger by Supertramp is their BEST song , but almost all of their songs are great and very different from each other. they are so versatile
If you love rich instrumentals, Supertramp is a great journey. My personal favourites are the songs “School” and “Crime of the Century”. School has an amazing build up. Crime of the Century is beautifully poetic and introspective.
When I was young I listen to these guys as one of my favorite groups, they have a long list of great songs, probably 4 or 5 of their albums are some alltime greats, most notably "CRIME OF THE CENTURY", BREAKFAST IN AMERICA". Songs to include; "Rudy, Bloody well Right", Give a little bit, Logical song, Goodbye stranger, and many many more.
I first saw them at age 15 in concert when they opened with their "Crime of the Century " tour. The stage was filled with dry ice fog that had the lead singer and piano player rise up from the stage playing the popular song "Bloody Well Right".
Yes! Bloody Well Right, for sure!
Your still young x
The only thing I can add to what has already been recommended is that The Logical Song is my favorite Supertramp song.
School,Even In The Quietest Moments, Crime of the Century, many more but you cant go wrong with Supertramp!
Supertramp’s “Bloody Well Right” has a 1-minute piano intro that will blow your mind.
Supertramp is a carnival!!
Okay, now you've found a great rabbit hole to go down. Classic rock band
One of deepest Best songs ever written....by Supertramp. I Love this group!!!! Very Talented!!!! One of the gods of Rock n' Roll.....check out their, "The Logical Song." I think you will like it.
This song is from the album BREAKFAST IN AMERICA.....this is a must have album ...every song is like this ....... AMAZING
II completely agree with you! To me the magic of Supertramp lay in the arrangements! All of the "little things" that are going on in the back ground as 'fill' but are strategically placed, thought through; a little run on the Hammond B-3 organ, a run on the soprano sax, wood blocks, and so on. They are just great!
The king of band that makes you smile and happy ! ☺️🎉
A great album! Seems like 1979 just a few days ago sometimes to me!
"Long train runnin" by The Doobie Brothers.
Now I wish I had this album and a stereo to play it on again. Miss the old days
My favorite Supertramp is Goodbye Stranger.
❤
As far as album studio productions go, this one...wow, one of the best. The entire album is so well produced. And this song is a goddamned masterpiece.
Loveeee Supertramp!
Every Supertramp song I’ve heard ( which is a lot ) I have loved. Breakfast in American would be another great choice!
Great reaction. Love this song. You should also try Supertramp the logical Song.😀👍❤️✌️🌼
They got a lot awesome songs. Breakfast in America is one of my fav. Up Supertramp
This is one of my all time favorite songs. Next, The Logical Song and Dreamer.
Mine too ❤️
Just to add on to the Supertramp love pile: The Logical Song, Goodbye Stranger, Give a Little Bit, Dreamer, Bloody Well Right, Crime of the Century, School, Breakfast in America
Whoop whoooop!
Supertramp has a load of great tunes......rock on brother....
Yes, Supertramp is a phenomenonal band with a great catalogue of music. The Logical Song, Dreamer, Bloody Well Right, School, Give a Little Bit, Fool's Overture, Hide in Your Shell, Goodbye Stranger, are among a few that are worth sampling.
Take a dive into a rabbit hole - and give Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) a go. SOOO many songs to listen to and enjoy.
From Supertramp-The Logical Song, Breakfast in America, Goodbye Stranger, Give a Little Bit (which were all on one hell of an album, Breakfast in America) Bloody Well Right

Comedy Recommendations
Gabriel Iglesias-The Gift Basic or Road Trip
Brad Williams-Buying Lucky Charms

Take the Long Way Home is probably the earliest memory I have of popular music from when I was about 3yo. I only recently realized there is that awesome bluesy clarinet solo in the middle to complement the harmonica. Great unique sound. Glad you enjoyed the song. Blessings.
My favourite is Hide In Your Shell
You could take a list of 50 Supertramp songs, throw a dart at it, and have a great song
Wake up people! Give this man more likes! Always good to get perspective renewed.
Welcome to Supertamp and the journey of this band. There are so many songs by them to mention. Really digging your vibe and channel more and more.
actually this song is from thier last commercially successful album. But thier best stuff was earlier like the song "School" would be a great one and Audio (studio verson) is best quality
Roger Hodgson the main singer also the heart of this band. He left the band in the mid 80s went quiet until the mid 2000s now does solo tours.
Breakfast in America fantastic album, Goodbye Stranger for so much going on.
I love this song.
Dope band. Their instrumentation is so clean
Rap and hip hop tend to minimize the instrumental...this is a group that MAX"s the full sound...GOODBYE STRANGER!! great song huge ending...Dude said he wrote it for all the one night stands musicians do
Goodbye Stranger
Supertramp were an ace band....
When this song comes on and I'm almost home I go around the block a few times.

Bloody Well Right is their most rocking song IMHO.

I really like Breakfast in America! They have so many great songs that were really never hits per say but I love them!
The crying and moaning harmonica was a great touch.

The Logical Song, hands down
“Logical song” is next for you!

I saw them twice in the 70's/80's. One of the few bands I've seen that played the songs live the same as in the studio. Awesome. Too many high quality songs to list. Listen to the 1st 4 albums and pick which ones you want to react to.

10cc morning judge, is a super SONG
"DREAMER", "GIVE A LITTLE BIT" and "CRIME OF THE CENTURY" by SUPERTRAMP ARE FANTASTIC SONGS
Breakfast In America is one of those must have albums, not a bad song from that release.
I found Supertramp in the 70s and saw them live in Burlington, VT when they were touring for their Crime of the Century album. Personally, I rank their top three albums as Crime of the Century, Even in the Quietest Moments, and Breakfast in America (which this song is from) in that order. You can't really go wrong with anything from those albums.
"Hide in your shell" and many more ...
Got the album brother!!!
One of their songs was used in a 90s hip hop song. Breakfast in America. Don’t remember who sampled it, but it was called take a look at my girlfriend
Why everybody forget the wonderful "School" song?
Rudy is a pure classic.
@@paulwilson2651 Oh yes, indeed.
@@paulwilson2651 Rudy's on a train to nowhere...

I recommend: Goodbye Stranger, The Logical Song, Breakfast In America, Dreamer, Give A Little Bit, It's Raining Again, Maybe I'm A Beggar, Surely, School, Bloody Well Right, Rudy, Crime Of The Century, Hide In Your Shell and Fool's Overture
how about The Doobie Brothers - CHINA GROVE next or Steely Dan- HEY NINETEEN OR Supertramps- THE LOGICAL SONG...trivia about Steely Dan, the band is named after a VIBRATOR advertised in the 70's
Logical Song
Haha, it was great to see how you warmed to it gradually and then it took you over. :))
Really enjoyed the reaction! Maybe give a try to Echo and the Bunnymen's "Pictures on My Wall."
I love that first note on the piano. I had to go back and experience it again a couple times. The vibration feels so good!

Underrated band yo..
It’s just a nice little ditty.
They have a long list of hit songs
"HEY JUDE" by THE BEATLES
Supertramp has been around longer than you. I was 13 when Breakfast in America was released. A big part of my personal influence
Supertramp's great - try "Give a Little Bit", "Even in the Quietest Moments", "School".
