Supertramp's Breakfast In America is probably one of the greatest albums ever recorded in music history.
Yes it is!
Absolutely ... I bought this album in 1979 and played the Sh*t out of it !
There in not a bad song on this album, in fact there all really good ... really good !
This is one of the all time bets albums ..EVER ..EVER!!! every song is great amazing … no fillers whatsoever!! a must album
@Marisól Mànzano I agree. I would call this an underrated album.
I agree, except that all of their 1st four albums are like that. Crisis What Crisis is one of the best albums ever.
This is one of the greatest albums of all time! Every song is masterful
One of the best Bands ever!! Every song Tells the truth
I took the long way home as often as I could in my teenage years. Supertramp helped me through that tough time for sure. Love their sound. Still.
I STILL take the long way home! Brings me peace and I always get a special, personal gift from God.
Glad to see someone finally react to a Supertranmp song, this is a very rare event in reactions across the world.
Listened to this song over and over. So great.
Song gives me chills.
This band’s music was so unique. It stands up to the test of time so well. I think it is a credit to excellent musicians and skillful arrangements. This is still one of my favorite albums ever!
Wow good choise. This song is the soundtrack of my life ❤️🎶
I like this song......👍👍👍🇮🇩
Just loved the way she (sorry I can't remember your name) smiled when the harmonica kicked in. Keep up the good work.
My favorite friends listening to my favorite group. What can be better than that ? 🙂
Just saw Roger Hodgson February 15 th almost all Supertramp songs it was awesome Ridgefield playhouse Connecticut
Kirti, I enjoyed seeing the grin spread across your face when you heard the harmonica kick in at the start of this song. You really looked as though you were enjoying yourself, and thank you for appreciating such an epic song.
Breakfast in America was a great album and full of great songs. I use to listen to them over and over. Music to enjoy and relax with.
Arthur M. Tellez my favorite of all time. The other 2 favourites are The Who Who are you and Rush Signals.
One of my all time favourite groups...!
I think you would really like "Babaji" by Supertramp.
It is a little deeper cut from the "Even In The Quietest Moments..." album.
Beautiful song from one of the greatest bands.
Maybe the singer loves the appreciation & adoration he gets when he's performing but when he gets home his wife isn't appreciating him as one of his "adoring" fans. She thinks he's crazy for wanting to be adored like that. She reminds him that he's just a normal man who still has responsibilities to his family to do normal things regardless of him being a famous performer.
This is a fantastic song!!!
Watching this was just what I needed tonight! Took me back to a strange and wonderful time in my life....thank you!
"Is it mine" a beautiful song by Supertramp
Lord ist ist mine
@ Thomas Main: I agree. Astoundingly retrospective in it’s loneliness and completely at home with it.
I am a longtime sub and a big fan of you two. If copyright allows it you must do anything and or everything from the "Crime of the Century" album, 1974. It is definitely a top 10 desert island album. Even the radio friendly "hit" Dreamer is a standout. The songwriting and musicianship as well as the production values in the studio make for some amazing listening. Every song is grand, in a good way. Take the time to listen to the songs as a whole and also be able to separate the individual instruments at the same time. The lyrics are serious stuff as well. It is a feast for the ears and mind. Cheers from the canadian Queen nut.
Great reaction as always @Enoma!! Watching from Fresno, California, USA
🤘😎💯💕
Please do Breakfast in America. Supertramps harmonies are the best.
thank you both for yet another great reaction vid to a timeless classic! i always very much enjoy your reactions as well as your powers of observations in describing each song that u react to! keep them coming! take care and God bless!
Had this album on 8track seems like 100 years ago.
🤗🤗🤗🤗fantastic! Up the anti - give us 'Lord is it Mine'...
I watch a lot of reaction videos; this channel has become one of my favorite so far
Viewing through the lens of my own marriage’s demise, I have an entirely different interpretation. I love this song, but for me it is full of sorrow and regret. 😕
To me, "take the long way home" always felt like a euphemism for skipping out on your family or significant other. The song might be interpreted as justifying doing so, or it might be interpreted as sarcastic, justifying it on the surface but not meant to be taken at face value. Role-playing, if you will. "Don't be like this guy."
I'm not sure what the exact intent of the band was; those are just my impressions.
You two are on a massive roll. I haven`t come across a song you picked where you didn`t have a positive reaction. Very nice. Good work.
awesome video
I saw a few of your vids some time ago and thought this would be a good song for you to experience. Really glad I found this vid today.
Lots of lyrical depth in Supertramp. Not that many reactions beyond the hits. Maybe copyright, but many of the album tracks are better than the well-known hits imo. Hide in Your Shell, A Soapbox Opera, Child of Vision are a few.
Love the piano on "Child of Vision"!
@James Townsend, ditto.
Lovely song, thanks !!
I have a band suggestion if you haven't done them... INXS ... start with Mystify
Crime of the Century
great name for what is happening know
top 10 albums of all time IMO
Stratovarius - Speed of Light
Good song glad you didnt talk during it
they seem to always respect the music!
