Amazing! Not an ounce of rust on those floor boards. Good job. Anybody else woulda just sanded a tad bit over the rust, used filler for big spots, and otherwise threw fresh carpet over it, to hide the big elephant in the room. You, I can tell did this right. Then when you carpet it properly, it will last for decades.
I had a 68 just like this in 1987 it had a big dent behind the driver door, a 390 engine , we got pregnant and had to sell it. Wish I new where it went to. Someone at Semour Johnson AFB bought it.
They should have put a 429 Boss in this and today it would have fetched over 200k.. I can go on.. the Torino, the thunderbird, the continental, the gt 40, the king cobra so many cars that had so much potential but just never got to the finish line!! 😂
Damn that's pretty. Dad had one like that; Diamond Blue, with black interior. Don't recall the engine, but had the 3 on the tree.
