I have the same car except red. It would look a LOT better if you put regular 15x8 Cragar SS wheels on it and restore the height, or even lift the rear 2”. I’m 63 and so I’m “old-school”

I have a 1973 Thunderbird that is almost the same. Mine has upper windows, thicker Chrome and plastic along the fenders and doors at midline, and a two prong rim blow steering wheel. I actually really like the look of your car as well something about it!

Damn that's pretty. Dad had one like that; Diamond Blue, with black interior. Don't recall the engine, but had the 3 on the tree.

Look up “beautiful” in a dictionary and chances are you’ll find pictures of this car. I was 15 in 1965, in Northern California. Many of us guys were already in love with the new Thunderbird convertible when one sunny afternoon the parents of the most charming and popular girl in our high school arrived to pick her up. I’m 74 now and that car and that event still stir me up in deep places.

The 1971 Fleetwood and Fleetwood 75 are one year only for the rear vents or I should say the last year for the rear vents

Just beautiful. I had a '51 and later a '52 Roadmaster some years ago. 32,069 of these beauties rolled off the line in 1952 (plus 11.387 Roadmaster 2 door hardtops, 2404 convertibles and 679 wagons) all down from 1951 primarily due to a long steel strike that year. Nothing was like a Buick that year, easy to tell apart from the other GM makes.

Omg I have a 63 sports coupe myself .you just don’t see any at all anywhere in the 2 door coupe .mine has a long way too go .it had a lot of rot but I don’t care I’m doing all the work myself.I wanted something that no one else has and boy did I find it..beautiful car you have

When I was a kid my brother-in-law bought a brand new 68 Ford XL royal blue with white vinyl top in white interior. He ended up letting it go back because he could not afford the $85 a month car payment. 😅 And then when I grew up in the mid-1970s I went into the Navy I had a 67XL fall into my lap. Oh the car road so good. 👍🏻 THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

We had a 65 88 with 425 high compression 2 barrel. It had a single tailpipe that was big enough for a pot bellied stove. She would really roll down the highway. I think if you would mount an ice cube tray in front of the center vents with a/c on it would make ice cubes! LOL.

Sounds awfully loud. This engine should run whisper quiet. Upholstery is all wrong. These cars didn'' have 4-ways. Reflectors in the back don'' belong there. Trunk lining is incorrect.

Had a two tone green one. Nice solid car.
