This art style feels a lot like the old arcade game gunsmoke. Looks like one of those weird gamez though from the 90s that look nonsenschel but is extremely fun.
Dude you had General Chaos? We got it when the PS1 was having it's shine in the sun, We were bought it at a pawn shop with a few cheap two player games. That Chaos Engine and Mutant League Hockey.... some real some there, I always loved getting into melee in General Chaos after seeing the dude straight up shoot the other one,
What are you talking about? It makes perfect sense that humanity has lost the instinct for war and sends warriors... with instinct... you know what? Nevermind. Nice forgotten gem with this one, I played it long time ago and I remember having a blast. Btw, have you ever played Betrayal at Krondor and/or Betrayal at Antara? I would love to watch your review of those two.
I played Krondor in the past, but it's been awhile. I would love to make videos about them, but it just simply isn't plausible ATM because of how long both of them are.
My headcannon is that the attract mode demo(s) that play when you idle on the menu are just video recordings of the previously failed rescue teams who had no clue what the hell they were doing due to lacking surivival instinct. That's why they play like garbage even though they have (usually) superior weapons- they don't even know how to use them propperly. Meanwhile, Athra, Betty, and Johnny are the last three combat-competent humans on the planet- but they were picked last because the united government didn't understand the difference between picking the guy who chose the coolest weapon(s) and picking the combatant who actually knows how to use the weapon(s) they chose (again, due to them not knowing how to fight wars and thinking big gun=win). The three starter characters then re-inspire the survival instinct in those they rescue along the way, allowing them to perform better under tactical leadership.
Where did you get the seperated image of the Genesis Box Art for the thumbnail? I'd love to have the isolated transparent render(s) of the characters like that!
I actually made that image myself. Blew up the box art and then tried to remove the background as best I could. If you're interested, I posted the image over on my Twitter. Unfortunately, it went up as a JPEG, but the plain white (should) be a fair bit easier to remove.
@@fandraxx Thanks! I'll see what I can do with it; regardless of whether or not it looks good or not after I crop the background back out, it could still be useful for extracting the unedited art from the original box without making it all blurry-smushy like your rendition ended up after you made it bigger.
❤❤🎉

Nice
I have this and its cool you can play with so many different characters but they have weaknesses and strong attacks and the range is needed
