Thank you so much for watching. Love all my plants.Several I have had for over 30 years. Probably too many plants. I just love them so much. I really enjoyed your video and a few others I had time to watch. I want to watch more of your videos. Suzettes Plants and Pups gave me the link to your channel. So happy she did.
Hello Chris, I am amazed at the depth of knowledge you have, so many names. Your daily routine caring for all of your leafy friends must be hours long. I am curious, you mentioned bringing a plant to the grocery store, does the store have a plant exchange? Thank you for the video, you have a pleasing voice to listen to.
Thanks Mark, LOL about knowing the names. You have missed the videos when I just stood there trying to remember a totally common plant name. Actually there are days I do not even do a thing for my plants but turn on the lights for them. Yes the last few days leading up to this video I did work a lot on the plants washing every plant in my house down just because they get dusty. Being no pest issue I just needed to hose them down in the tub and shower. The grocery store is kind of a gathering spot for the town people with a big round table and free coffee. I leave the plants off there for people to take. Leave a donation to the community garden if they can afford to do so. I hate to throw perfectly good little plants away. I love rooting and growing cuttings but no way can I keep them all. A new neighbor lady moved in in December and lost all of her house plants in the move but one. The other day I populated her house with plants that I really needed to let go of. A car load gone and I did not even leave an empty space after they were gone. sigh. Thanks so much for watching.
Right and the lower plants will get good sunlight with a little more protection from the almost full soth windows. Being most of the bottom sitters are kind of baby plants. If I need to I can raise that top shelf up by cutting down the top half of the legs to fit my needs. I would rather not do that. I will just see how it goes. how those plants do. They all have done well on the west side windows since I installed those stands in January? They are almost the same distance between shelves. Thanks for watching.
Hi Chris! Got home late last night and tired today but enjoying your video! Your decursiva is so nice! I have one but I am guessing it needs more light...what window does yours sit in! It looks great! Love how you cut your plant stands in half! Perfect! ♡tina enjoyed the tour! Your plants are happy!
thanks Tina, The Decursiva is in a mostly south window. I do have the mosaic window and on the lower half of the window is a lace curtain to diffuse the harsh sunlight. I do think the Decursiva really likes it there. It is also perking up more after her just done repot that showed slightly curled leaves in the video. Glad you made it home safely and I hope your plants did not miss you too much.
LOL Thanks Sharon. I got the older ones from walmart. Shocking I now. It was several years ago. I had them mounted on bark for a few years. They even grew babies. The newer pot full I think has two ferns in it and I got them from Garden Answers Mom and Dads Andrews Seed Store in Ontario Oregon. It is a gorgeous nursery. They were small in 4 inch pots and very inexpensive. Maybe 7.00 each. I think they are doing better in their coco coir baskets with potting soil. The potting soil I put them on the tree bark seemed to just wash out too fast and I would have to keep remounting them. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for watching and your sweet comment. Almost ashamed to say I use garden compost bought in bags and add a lot of perlite. this is what I actually use but unless you are in Idaho and have a Bi-Mart I doubt you can find it. It is a nice loam feel to it with some small sticks and lumps of undisclosed content LOL www.bimart.com/bi-mart-45-quart-planting-mix-15-cubic-feet/p/174590 Without adding the perlite to it is a bit too heavy. I was getting the perlite on Ebay in a giant bag that weighs almost nothing. It is called Vigoro. Home Depot and amazon also have it At the time Ebay had it at the lowest cost and free shipping. I have been using this combination for years. Maybe 10 years and have not had any problems. I do fertilize with either fish emulsion or Schultzes and right now I am trying diluted Jacks. I try to keep the whole process pretty simple. I live in winter cold country so I try to bring in enough potting soil to get me through the winter. Otherwise I have to wait for it to thaw out to use it and maybe my imagination but the bag feels twice as heavy when frozen solid.
❤🥰🌿🥰🌿🥰🌿❤ beautiful plants 🌿🥰

Hi, love your plants. I created my very own plant oasis a few months back and am in love. Curious please, what soil are you using.
