Mine was a smallish size when I got her too. Maybe yours will put on a growth spurt next spring. Funny thing is I do remember for sure it was Walmart where I bought her and as soon as I walked in and saw the line up of plants she was just shining out there amongst the sea of dark green. I did not even know what she was I had to check tag. Course now I can hardly remember any plant names or am just struck dumb when I am trying to make videos. Thanks so much for watching.
Well Thank You so much for watching. Since I made the video I have completely moved my living room plants and furniture around for winter. Now I will have something to make a video. Hopefully in the next few days. I work tomorrow.
@@shadesofidaho awesome, gotta love that winter plant shuffle. I’m still moving things around and getting my outdoor cold sensitive plants tucked in their spots for the winter, then discovering pests is part of the process. Stressful but love it. Winter reminds me that I really have too many plants. 😭🤣
@@LostInThisGardenofLife OH UGH on the too many plants. When I had an outbreak of thrips it took me 19 hours to get all my plants moved to the tub and shower to spray down with the pretty harsh bug killer And I had to repeat the process three times at one week. Then 10 days and then 2 or 3 weeks. THEN systemic for all after that. I got rid of them. I pray I never have to go through that again. And the winters here are pretty harsh and plants need to be moved away from the windows. Even with three layers of drop cloth canvas curtains. I love winter. but it is tough on my plants. I also reduced my numbers of plants. And root pruned for smaller pot sizes.
Camera seems to be working great! Your Philos are lovely - I'm a big fan of my Painted Lady, too! It adds such a pop of color wherever I put her. Thanks for sharing! 👏🏽🪴👏🏽
Thanks Lisa. I totally agree the Painted Lady Philodendron brings that different pop of color. she just shines out there in a different way the Lemon Lime color of many of the other variegated Philodendrons do. Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks Roger. I need to catch up on any new videos you have put out. Just been insanely busy here. Druscilla and Jasper are happily grinning on my wall. LOL Love then so much. You are such a fantastic artist!
Everything looks sooo beautiful!!!! My painted lady wants to look like your painted lady one day LOL. Yours is gorgeous!!!! I've been finding myself drawn to sansevieria more and more and I especially love the looks of the one you shared.....can't remember the name now but I think it started with the letter M. Love that deep green and pointy leaves. Super enjoyed this Chris...happy to see a video from you. Thanks for sharing :).
@@ThePinkTrellis That will be amazing. I will pull it and pot it up so it gets a good start before shipping. HA finding a box long enough to ship it. I will keep my eye open for one through the winter.
Amazing video and that Painted Lady looks amazing! The "Self-heading" philodendron that's underneath your upright Lemon-Lime is quite possibly a P. 'Green Congo'. Can't wait to see future updates :))
It for sure is a Lemon Lime Philo below the Lemon Lime upright on top shelf. I have the green gongo though. LOL After watching Kellies Hoya and her vlog on her philodendrons. I finally counted to see how many philodendrons I have and I think I came up with 33. YIKES I did not count the duplicates. I think Philos and hoyas are my favorite plants. No I have not counted the hoyas. LOL I do have one philodendron tagged Philodendron sp. and nothing more. I am still hoping someday as it matures more it will show us all what it is going to be. Kind of fun guessing. Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks Suzette. I think this new to me camera is great for walk around kind of videos. Not sure about the tripod since there is no swing out side screen viewer on it. But hey free is good. I just needed to figure out how to transfer the photos to my computer. And now the new way to create a video wit my new laptop. Gads too many new things for my old brain. LOL This camera is very comfortable to hold and does have the neck strap incase it does slip from my hand.
@@shadesofidaho oh I'm sure you will figure it all out. And one you get it into place on your tripod and aim at where you sit or stand you will get it figured all out.. lol some people think making videos are easy and they are NOT! LOL
@@tropicalplantmomma LOL Well reading reviews on this camera someone said their 8 year old daughter loved the camera and was using it right off as soon as mom or dad gave the basic directions. Heck maybe they should send the kid with the order. NO just totally kidding on that.
Thank you so much. It is never too late to make changes. I always had lots of plants around but did not want to overwhelm hubby with them. OR take up HIS spaces to be mine. Now he is gone I have let my plants grow and my decor change/evolve. I was already 68 when he passed 7 years ago.
@@mrsaturn1792 Hahaha Obviously I have lost all semblance of sanity. Just look at this place. And no family is all gone. Last man/woman standing wins. Actually I am perfectly fine alone. And Thanks for watching.
Thank you Chris, The Painted Lady is a clear winner, mine is still quite small but I love it 🌿💚

Yes it does begin with an M. Macado. It has a baby so I will just put your name on it for string when I can ship again.
