Your plants and your home are absolutely stunning! I can tell that SO much thought and care has gone into it all, I hope you are super proud of it! You have excellent taste.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I do enjoy tweaking my house around. I hope to build a couple trunk/box pieces to put under the double west side windows. Still trying to decide if I want to put doors or just leave the fronts open. Right now it is just too cold outside to work in my garage. Supposed to be warmer tomorrow but I might be too busy shoveling snow. LOL Love your user name. Since I am 75 I lived and LOVED the Hippie generation. HA Still living it I never grew out of it. Thanks so much for watching.
If you are in the USA I would gladly share cuttings or baby plants with you. Just not in winter. I am always having to chop back my plants. I try to find homes for cuttings. Breaks my heart to just have to throw them to compost.
@@shadesofidaho that’s incredibly kind. Me from a year ago would definitely have taken you up on that! I can barely care for what I have. You’re wonderful
Well Thanks. I am glad you like it. After my hubby died the plants kind of took over the house. I have had plants and lots of them since the 70's, YES I am that old.
Merry Christmas to you too. My little Blast from the Past. I hope your life is going well. Are you in instagram? I just did some mosaic window sills in my living room and dining room. Nothing really fancy. But it perked up those boring window sills. Thanks for watching.
Hi Chris! Your string of heats and your paradoxa are out of this world! I'm so impressed! Wow your Decursiva is amazing as well.....mine is cut up in a jar. Because it had scale on it! So I finally chopped and threw the root ball away, but it was leggy, anyway....I love how lush yours is....I love your plant room and it looks so beautiful.....your kitty is so cute :) and love your house! How are is your hoya bathroom doing? Talk soon love tina
Hi Tina. I love that od string of hearts plant. It seems to like where I have it. It grew all the way down to the floor so I had to chop it and then bring the bottom of the strands up and hang them over a large hook. Probably why it looks so full. So far I have not had scale. Another plant friend told me she has had it several times and uses the Germex hand sanitizer on it directly from the bottle to get rid of it. You can get a huge bottle of it at walmart. It is very inexpensive. She told me that brand is thicker than most of the other hand sanitizer. I am trying to keep my Decursiva small. By chopping on it so much it has put out several growth points down low. I really like the look of the low bushy plant. Thanks for watching.
Loved the tour Chris!!!! Two things…what is that super cute small round leaf plant above the Mccolley’s finale? I was trying to figure that out! Also I got a sneak peek of your green/jadeite glass and was hoping you were going to show more of that side of the room lol 💚💚💚.
Hi Gena. The tiny leaf plant is the Codonanthe. It is going through a leaf drop right now . It does not like the change in weather. I got this pant as a wee cutting and have had it for several years. I did see the plants at Walmart last year. Maybe home depot too. I am trying to think where I have jadite glass. Where was I in the video? only hare one jadite plate and honestly have no idea where it might be right now. If the glass was in my china cabinet it is a depression green glass. Thanks so much for watching.
@@shadesofidaho Thanks for the ID. It looked really cute. The glass was in a cabinet. Looked like jadeite to me. I think it was a pitcher that I saw first. Either way..I'm a big fan of green glass!!!! It looked really pretty!!!!
@@ThePinkTrellis The pitcher is a set of three with cream and sugar or??? Very vintage. There is also a big leaf dish that matches but probably not part of the set. I will get you a photo and put it on IG. For sure all pieces are pottery. I have had them for about 20 years and they were vintage when I got them. The big leaf is USA Calif. Original #713
Do you have any tips for the decursiva? I put mine on a moss pole and it grew an incredibly long, snakey vine which has just decided to grow a leaf at the tippy top of the moss pole…

Your plants are literally stunning, I am breathless, and you’re just casually talking about them like they’re whatever… please. Adopt me 🙏

January, I’d take the aquarium if i were you… 😚 loved all of it. You’re amazing. I’ve liked and subscribed.
Poor January. I have sent so much stuff off to her. We are both artists with creative minds on over load. Tanks so much for watching.
