    The How to Catch a Fish series is designed as a video fishing course, presented in a TV format for fishing many species and waters in Western Australia.
    We start with bream right on the doorstep of Perth city and a radical bait that became popular a few years ago.
    Using the techniques Steve will show you, your first 40cm bream might not be far away.

    This is an awesome video on how to. I've watched a few times over the years but reaffirms my faith that big bream often have black suff in their guts when cleaning. Shellfish feeders real close to the bank. Well done!!!!

    Unfortunately, this spot has been overfished to the point where there's no more bream. Only bream you get are the few that hang out under the jetty or sitting near the boats. No more mussels on thr pylons and jetty so no more bream. Really sad to see.

    I go out sometimes to get mussels for bait but find the pylons pretty much stripped, this is around canning bridge, and the yacht club that is around there, once I saw a guy who was swimming for the mussels and I told him these ones, while they are massive, are not the best to eat. They pick up heaps of contaminants. I dont think he understood. I regularly use though for the bream, you gotta be quick.

    This is an old post, so not sure if I'll get a response.
    Does the mussel bait work for any bream, or just black bream? I'm in Melbourne.

    • @joshualuckett4301
      @joshualuckett4301 5 років тому

      Mussels will work on any type of bream as long as there is structure that mussels can grow on where you are fishing.
